This fate was evident as soon as the trailer came out. You could tell that the movie was going to be terrible.

watched it online, saved my money what a bullshit movie
i think rock on was a hit because of music rock on 2 music was just bad

Rock on was a special movie since I watched it with my new college friends in my first year ..din expect such pathetic collections..it's unbelievable

WHAT A DISASTER THIS MOVIE. 🥱

I am now regretting why i watched this. I got a free coupon from Bookmyshow to watch a movie and i had 4 options, ADHM, Shivay, Rock On 2, Dongri ka Raja . I selected rock on 2 because i thought will be better than shivay and ADHM based on reviews here and i dont like watching Dongri ka Raja genre movies in theatre. Now i think shivay would have been better, at least the locations were watchable 😆😭 or even Dongri ka Raja where i could see some good acting from Ronit Roy.

This film was a Washout and super boring i would say. Not even 50 people were present in the theatre. 😆

Rock on 1 was an awesome movie with a story and great music. This movie had absolutely nothing. I don't even remember much to write a review. 😆

Also i have to mention the only reason Shraddha kapoor was in the film was because she can sing a little bit.

The story was super simplistic and had no head or tail. I dont know why even people try to make these films.

The demonetization made it even more difficult for people to come in but a good film will anyway attract crowds no matter what. I would say the worst film i saw in theatres ever. 🥱

Rating : 2/5 (Deserves 1 but +1 for my all time fav Rock on Title Track😃 , I Was glad they used it a lot).

Rock On 2 Drops Further On Monday

Rock On 2 fell around 40% on Monday from its Friday figure to collect 1-1.25 crore nett. The film has faced outright rejection. The first Rock On was bad enough and despite that a sequel came but hopefully this will be it for this brand (?) although you never know with this industry. The Monday figures in terms of drop may not be huge but they are very bad as all other films playing be it Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Chaar Sahibzaade, Dr. Strange or Shivaay are either same as Friday or even higher. The cash crunch is easing slightly but while that can be seen in the collections of other films but not for Rock On 2. There was a holiday in the North for Nanak Jayanti but even there Rock On 2 dropped while all other films gained. The four day business of Rock On 2 is as follows.

Friday - 2,00,00,000

Saturday - 2,40,00,000

Sunday - 2,50,00,000

Monday - 1,15,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 8,05,00,000 apprx

The first week is heading for around 10.50 crore nett business and that will be about it for the film as it will be out of most cinemas. The Overseas painted a similar picture with awful weekend of $350,000, this was half of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil which was in the third weekend.

Not suprising at all. The movie looked bad the moment first promo came out. Feeling bas for Shraddha. Bollywood should be choosy about the films that deserves to be made into a franchize. Not every movie can be 100 crore worthy.

I meant everybody was thrashing shivay and ADHM. And i didn't see rock on reviews before selecting the movie so in a way my mistake. 😆
