I am an ardent fan of KRPKAB.

I am just trying to think different & see.

If Dev would have married a girl of iswari's choice,
Problems would have been less .
For Dev & his wife.

If a girl has a love marriage- here Sona's was arranged love marriage.
She was dev's choice not iswari's.
Iswari would have been happy with a girl like that dadi bua's DIL.

But whether Dev would be happy with her ?
It is always better for Mamma's boys to marry girl of their mothers choice.

Then trouble from iswari, gkb will be less.
Why ?? Because iswari will take care of that girl because it was her choice.
Iswari may continue to do things for Dev.
That girl may also feel like an outsider-but will try to adjust.
Because for the girl iswari chooses- husband may be only for name sake.
She gets to spend, rest ,be with her husband if iswari allows.

In case of sona- she is an independent girl.
She doesn't want dev's money.
She wants a partner.

What if Natasha had married Dev ?
Then also not much problem for iswari.
Dev doesn't love her.
They will have like a formal relationship.
Natasha won't be there at home for iswari to pester her.

Here sona is st disadvantage.
She is a one woman army.
She doesn't have support of dev / iswari.
That is why she has to be mentally strong to take things forward.

At what juncture dev will be with her - future story should tell us.
Leaving dev is the easiest option.
If it was possible, then sona would not have married Dev,
He is / was the same person.
She had not realized the extent of unhealthy relationship between mother-son duo.
Walking out is easier.
Sona is not a loser. She will come out with flying colors .
She will teach them how to live happily.

Dev shouldn't have married a girl PERIOD!!
This kind of mental issue is not germinated because Sona was Dev's choice. This is because... Dev is happy without Ishwari...

hey do u seriously watch the conversations of neha?. its not abt sona , with any girl that dev would marry ishwari will have same issue. may be the extent might vary. natasha could not influence dev or lets put it the other way dev never expressed that he is doing something for nats in the presence of ishwari so she did not become so vocal .however her inner demons of insecurity were still active.
coming to sona dev showed acceptance to changes, had changed in few instances and mostly importantly he openly accepted that he is liking the changes (bedsheet shopping) this increased ishus insecurities million folds and so we get to see these scenes now

Ishwari would have problem with any girl he married period .

Dev is a wonderful guy and has great qualities in him .He can go to any extent for his loved ones and that includes Sona too .Havent we seen some growth in his character and his undying love for his Sonakshi. For him his dream project ,his wish of having his own kids looks small when compared to Sona .

Let's not forget his good qualities just because of one mistake .He is someone who doesn't hesitate to accept his mistakes and apologize for it .He is emotionally blackmailed from his childhood and made to feel indebted to his mom he will slowly learn to balance between his mom and his new family .

Leaving is an easy option and no matter whom she marries there will be some weakness and some flaws in them .Even Sona is not perfect and she has done some things which might give a feeling that Dev is not part of her family like hiding Saurabh issue ,her business venture .We have always seen him encourage sonakshi when it comes to career yet she failed to share with him about her new venture .Do we expect Dev to leave her and find someone better ?

Actually ishwari s problem is that dev loves sona

She would have been ok with any other girl if dev would not have loved her

Her basic concern is all the love her son has got in his heart shd b reserved only for her n not any other girl

Looking at her condition i feel may b her husband did not love her n all her 4 kids shd hv been born to her may b coz he might have forced himself on her for his pleasure????????

Dev should not have married anyone. PERIOD...

He and his mother, according to him has an unique relationship. They don't have to be like anyone else. Based on their action the interpretation is that they don't have to give a eff about anyone else as long as they are focused on each other.

Why bring another woman between this unique relationship? Where is the space for anyone else, let alone a wife? Who wants to live their life on crumbs?

Let's be honest here. This is how the world works. Parents raise kids, kids grow up and get married and create their own family and the cycle continues.

Both side of the family through the couple becomes blended family who stands by each other through thick and thin.

Sona very easily accepted Dev's sisters as her sisters. She spends her time bonding with them. So they come to her for advice and their problems.

Did Dev spent any time with Saurabh beyond around family when Sona is there? Why would Saurabh ever consider sharing his problems with Dev?

Sona accepted Ishwari as her mother and gave her all due respect. Even if Asha told her to treat Ishwari like a stranger, Sona won't ever hurt Dev's mother.

But Dev? He did it in a heatbeat. Why would anyone consider Dev to be part of their family? He only belongs heart and soul to Ishwari.

Then why marry? Marriage is a social custom where two people want to share their life and family together.

Otherwise, casual flings is also a possibility these days as well as convenient where two people can continue to have their separate life and just come together for sex. In that arrangement, nothing has to change in their personal life including their family dynamics and lifestyle. There was absolutely no need for Dev to ever get married since Sona has to take a crowbar to pry her place in his home and his priorities constantly which is exhausting for anyone.

I am sorry. When a man hurts a woman for the sake of his mother, he is not a good human being and thus a FAILURE of her own upbringing.

People call Dev Shravan Kumar. Shravan Kumar never married because his entire life was devoted to his parents. He was a good son as well as a good human being. Because he could not do justice to a woman, he didn't marry. That's fair and selfless. Dev is selfish because he wants just a woman on tap to use when he wants her and sideline her when he doesn't or she comes between his family matters. That's a shitty example of a human being.

Dev could be Shravan Kumar and never married. Why ruin a woman's happiness, dreams and expectations because your mother wants to be your everything?

Bang on ! Yes Dev is flawed and so as Sona. He is making mistakes and will learn from it. I would say he is extremist when it comes to loving his near and dear ones. And leaving is not an option, lets see how they sort it out.
Its not that what Dev did shocked me because he is still true to his character. But the way makers are justifying Ishwari's actions for the sake of Dev, it is wrong indeed.
