Armaan confronts Abhira

Arman confronts Abhira after discovering that she kept the truth from him. He questions her intentions and asks whether she lacked faith in his abilities, which led her to approach Rajat family behind his back. Abhira calmly assures him that she never doubted his competence. In anger, Arman places his certificates in front of her and asks if she believes they are forged. Abhira reminds him that she has always respected his talent and integrity. As she tries to pacify him, one of the certificates slips from his hand and falls to the floor. Unnoticed by them, Myra and Vani overhear their heated exchange.

Abhira reveals Meher's truth to Armaan:

Feeling betrayed, Arman regrets trusting Abhira despite Krish's earlier warning. Abhira pleads for a chance to explain, pointing out that Arman once gave the Mittals an opportunity to defend themselves. She then drops a shocking truth, revealing that Arman had unknowingly helped a criminal escape. She tells him that Meher murdered Rajat without provocation and adds that the Mittals bribed witnesses to manipulate the case. Arman is left shaken by the revelations.

Kaveri intervenes and tells Arman not to blame himself. She questions Abhira credibility and suggests that Anita may have lied to protect Vani. Abhira firmly counters this, stating that Anita consumed poison in front of her and that someone facing death would not lie. She asks Kaveri if she truly believes she would deliberately put Arman through such pain. Abhira further explains that Meher killed Rajat out of jealousy after losing an award to him. Unable to process the truth, Arman walks away in silence.

Elsewhere, Meher panics, suspecting that Vani may have exposed the truth. Mittal brushes off her fears, but Meher is convinced that Arman could turn against her. In a disturbing confession, she admits she would have killed Vani and Anita the same day and threatens to eliminate Vani and Abhira if she is sent to jail. Mittal reassures her that such a situation will never arise.

Armaan tries to take his life:

The Poddar family attempts to speak to Arman, but he shuts everyone out. Torn between denial and reality, Arman spirals into guilt, holding himself responsible for Rajat and Anita deaths. Abhira begs him to open the washroom door and promises to stand by him. In despair, Arman attempts to take his own life, claiming it is too late to fix anything. Abhira pleads desperately, but her attention is diverted when Surekha calls to inform her about Myra.

Abhira finds Myra emotionally shattered and hears Vani crying nearby. Overwhelmed, she struggles to decide whom to comfort first. Kiara and Abhir step in and ask Abhira to stay with Myra while they look after Vani. Feeling alone and burdened, Abhira doubts herself, but Abhir reassures her that he trusts her completely.

Kiara consoles Vani, while Abhir asks Kaveri to show compassion. Kaveri refuses, stating she cannot sympathize with anyone linked to a criminal. Abhir firmly supports Vani. Sanjay advises Abhir to focus on Kiara, assuring him that the elders will manage the rest. Surekha then asks Abhir and Kiara to accompany her.

Later, Abhira comforts Myra and requests her not to resent her, explaining that she genuinely tried to make her birthday special. Myra clarifies that she does not hate Abhira but admits she does not like Vani.

For the unversed, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is reportedly set to take a leap. However, there is no confirmation about the same.

Arman asks Mittal to obtain Meher's signature on certain documents. When questioned, Arman reveals that he is reopening Meher's case, placing his faith in Abhira.
