A lot have been said and discussed over Mannu, Manveer, Rohan and Rahul's derogatory comments against woman. but what surprises me the most is none of the woman actually is taking any stand against the rubbish which is being told in open.
Bani, Lopa, Nitibha, Lokesh, Mona??? None of them find anything objectionable in this?
Are they purposefully ignoring the topic or they dont feel anything insulting in this even after been repeated again and again.

They are strong personalities and we have seen all of them yes ALL OF THEM taking stand for their individual sake but here they feel it is quite ok 👎🏼

I just wrote along these lines in another thread.
Do the supposedly strong, opinionated and no-nonsense Banis and Lopas have absolutely nothing to say when extremely offensive sexist remarks are being thrown around left right and centre? Hardly admirable, when their 'stands' are selective. Though Nitibha isn't touted to possess such qualities, she's been coming across very sorted and likeable lately; I'd have thought she'd say something, but nope. I had zero expectations of Lokesh or Mona speaking up, regardless.

And none of them, men and women alike, spoke up about Manu's appalling disrespect of food, either. So disappointing!

I think additional rule was added this season. Don't use women card. This has been abused in past so I think they told the girls to not use it.

As I said previously, Y do ppl expect others to get involved and take stands, especially Bani, who has never interfered in anyone else's fights? As for taking stands, shouldn't BB be the first one to put a stop to this? BB only reprimanded them abt dragging community, how abt telling them not to make derogatory remarks against women?
Coming back to Bani, she does not do things for footage, but very silently takes her stand without ppl even realizing it. Her refusing to dance with Mannu, her avoiding Om g, her having a one-to-one convo with Om g and strictly telling him off, her looking out for Lokesh are all subtly done.

Also I don't blame others for not interfering as all dis is more footage driven than anything else and its BB who shld take actions if things go out of control.

When Babaji called Lokesh 'Charitra-heen", Lopamudra scolded him.👍🏼

And why only for women? Yesterday when Mannu-Manveer were fighting with Babaji, Lopa was pulling their hands to hold them back.

Precisely what I was pissed off. And it doesn't just have to female contestants who could have spoken up. ANYONE could have.
But nope. All of them were just sitting there as if they were enjoying a movie or something. No reaction from any of them whatsoever. They can do petty quarrels with each other (see Lopa-Bani) but when it comes to something offensive as this, zero care given.

No one bothered to speak up about it. Not a single contestant came out on top yesterday. None were likeable.

I don't expect them to interfere in others' fights at all - But what of having an opinion? Manveer-Rohan's fight aside, Rahul's comment was made as part of a conversation that Lopa, Bani and I think Lokesh were part of - there was no fight there. So either these girls did not find his comment offensive, or they did, but chose not to say anything because it's Rahul making it. Because it does apply to them - the comment was offensive to both Manu and women.

As for Bani, I'm all for stands taken subtly, and I applauded her advice to Lokesh re the bed-sharing situation. But if she (and Lopa) do speak up for themselves, they either do so only selectively, or they agree with Rahul's viewpoint. I find neither of those scenarios admirable. Regarding Bani refusing to dance with Manu, I did not find that a stand - her refusing when Himesh asked would've been a stand - saying nothing then, and rebuffing him twice later is an insult.

As for Bigg Boss - no expectations whatsoever - the only time they say anything is when they're worried about possible public outrage and lawsuits. Both of these are a possibility with the community comments, but unfortunately not when people throw around gender-based insults.

Again, I don't expect people to interfere - but I do expect them to have a point of view on what people in the house say and do, and express it. And this goes for all the contestants, men and women alike.

It's not like Bani takes selective stands. She keeps herself away from being too vocal. Even for herself she just makes her points and if things drag on, she backs off.

As it is ppl accuse her of being dominating and what not, so I don't find anything wrong in her not interfering, as she is consistent at least.

Again she did not make a scene abt not wanting to dance with Mannu, but refused simply. That was her prerogative and she used it.
