Indeed, and this is why her silence yesterday was all the more conspicuous. Considering how she's spoken up previously, both for herself and others, I would've have thought she'd be the first to express her displeasure on Rahul's comment at least, if not Rohan-Manveer's.

But Lopa was not alone in being disappointing yesterday - as Nymeria said, not a single contestant came out on top. But to me, the women's silence is more disappointing - they were repeatedly insulted as a gender, and not one of them said a word.

It's not like Bani takes selective stands. She keeps herself away from being too vocal. Even for herself she just makes her points and if things drag on, she backs off.

As it is ppl accuse her of being dominating and what not, so I don't find anything wrong in her not interfering, as she is consistent at least.

Again she did not make a scene abt not wanting to dance with Mannu, but refused simply. That was her prerogative and she used it.

I disagree as I said above, but all subjective points in any case, so let's agree to disagree 😊

problem is calling a Man and Woman is an age old insult ,not a lot women dont give a second thought abt it being it is also insulting to women .. it doesnt even get registered as sexist remark .. sorry state of affairs and will take loads of change ..
with so many directly insulting and sexist remarks coming from Swami these things go under the radar .. not trying to excuse the behavior but trying to analyzing them ..

I don't expect them to interfere in others' fights at all - But what of having an opinion? Manveer-Rohan's fight aside, Rahul's comment was made as part of a conversation that Lopa, Bani and I think Lokesh were part of - there was no fight there. So either these girls did not find his comment offensive, or they did, but chose not to say anything because it's Rahul making it. Because it does apply to them - the comment was offensive to both Manu and women.

As for Bani, I'm all for stands taken subtly, and I applauded her advice to Lokesh re the bed-sharing situation. But if she (and Lopa) do speak up for themselves, they either do so only selectively, or they agree with Rahul's viewpoint. I find neither of those scenarios admirable. Regarding Bani refusing to dance with Manu, I did not find that a stand - her refusing when Himesh asked would've been a stand - saying nothing then, and rebuffing him twice later is an insult.

As for Bigg Boss - no expectations whatsoever - the only time they say anything is when they're worried about possible public outrage and lawsuits. Both of these are a possibility with the community comments, but unfortunately not when people throw around gender-based insults.

Again, I don't expect people to interfere - but I do expect them to have a point of view on what people in the house say and do, and express it. And this goes for all the contestants, men and women alike.

if you watch carefully, bani even agreed with rahul, after rahul was done with that comment, bani said haan
