Farhan Akthar - Adhuna Bhabani attend Counselling Session

Mirror has learnt that after announcing their split through a joint statement in January, Farhan Akhtar and his hairstylist wife Adhuna Bhabani filed for divorce in the Bandra family court on October 19.
The former couple arrived at the court on Tuesday after noon for a counselling session after which they were given the mandato ry six month waiting period to come back and tell the court if they still want to go ahead with the divorce. Family Court Principal Judge I J Nanda conducted the session after ascertaining basic details of the petition. No allegations have been made by either party in the petition.

Farhan and Adhuna got married in 2000 after a three-year courtship and have two daughters - Akira and Shakya. According to the information available with Mirror, it is going to be a one-time full and final settlement divorce. The bungalow in which Farhan and Adhuna lived together is owned by them jointly but Farhan has secured Adhuna's interest in it for life. She will also get a onetime alimony and Farhan will invest substantial money in securing their kids' future.While the kids' custody will remain with Adhuna, Farhan will have unrestricted access.The case will now be heard on April 24. The duo may be granted divorce on the same day if they stick to the consent terms and decide to go ahead with it.
