Gokuldham society has its own pros and cons..

Cons:: Everyone will interfere in your personal matter and annoy you like hell asking questions after questions. And also the society does not have any security guard (can not consider Abdul as security). You have to do garba on every other occasion😆

Pros:: Everyone is very friendly and selfless. If you are in danger everyone will help you till their last breath and bring you out of danger. You might get to eat delicious dishes made by Daya Gada and some free health check-up from Dr. Hathi and free ride on Sodhi's jeep.

No... Never!

Despite the GD being a dreamland of good people, I think the cons are way too much to handle.

1) Lack of Privacy

2) Too many festivals and functions on which I cannot spent.

3) No parking space.

4) Monopolized and compulsive services with regard to medicine( Dr. Hathi), Electronics ( Gadas) Tuition ( Bhide) etc.

5) No friends or well wishers beyond the GD society .

6) No change in the electoral system for the post of Secretary andother executive members.

7) No proper security as mentioned by the TM.

8) Ban on Alcohol and gambling . Although I personally don't like both of them but I think for an adult it should be a personal choice. You cannot compel them to accept it.

9) Too much interference from Champaklal Gada. Although he is a father figure but he cannot expect others to accept his decision in their personal matters.

10) Too much emphasis on feminism.

11) Importance of education is limited to school and college exams. It has no effect in overall approach of the show.

12) Endorses superstitions.

13) Endorses conning in the name of relatives.

There are ample of examples. Let me give you one. The invisible but the most powerful woman of the show.Jeev Daya ben. For what was Jeev Dayaben awarded anything in this world ? For endorsing superstitions ? But Champak chacha who donated blankets to the poor or saved the Gandhi maidan from the encroaches or even saved a girl from eve teasers was never awarded anything in his life.
Then there are thousands of such instances. For women Kitty party is their own small entertainment but La Ula party for men is too much the men are asking for and therefore the women has to reciprocate by arranging one similar party for themselves. I am not against women partying on their own but why because their husbands are partying ? Despite of being a woman I despise feminism as much as I despise chauvinism because both destroy the idea of gender equality. Instead of showing them as ' Adarsh Nari' show them as normal human beings because only a Adarsh Purush can have a Adarsh nari as his wife. Rest all have normal spouses.
