Karan Johar advises SRK for the 'Raees' release

Shah Rukh Khan's 'Raees' is set for a release early next year and his good friend Karan Johar is helping him get the best deal for the film's release.

According to a source, KJo has been advising how to get a good deal for 'Raees' from single screen theatre owners who had to agree to screen 'Raees' since Anil Thadani who also owns the distribution rights for 'Mirzya' and 'Baahubali 2' convinced the single screen theatre owners to reserved most of the single screens for 'Raees' too. Since the other two films too are big releases it was easy to make them agree to the deal.

Now that is what true friends are for!

I think it's logical to assume Team Kaabil (especially considering the direct quote from Ramesh Sippy :) but from their perspective it's not really a "negative" article just sharing facts of what is happening to their film. Surely if it's fair for single screens to be pressured to give more shows to Raees it's fair for Kaabil makers/distributors to reveal it's happening. Unless it's not happening in which case shame on team Kaabil (or at least shame on Mr. Sippy - which makes me think of Mrs. Sippy which makes me think of Mississippi which explains a lot about my attention span).
