Dev essentially excluded Sona by not sharing his thoughts with her. If you remember in the past, Dev and Sona have fought over difference of opinions. And even at the end of the argument/fight, each didn't agree with the other's opinion. They agreed to disagree over matter matters over they didn't see eye to eye.
The problem is not that you don't agree on the solution of the problem, the problem is that Dev doesn't share his thoughts with Sona. As a wife, you become a part of your husband, part of your family, part of his life only when he sees as a partner in every way.

Sona was not expecting Dev to ...say for example invite her to sit in on the divorce discussion with the lawyer along with Sihwari and Neha. But she expected him to share his thoughts when he was deciding to get Ranveer sacked or calling the lawyer so that they could discuss the good/bad of it between themselves. So that, she can tell him what she feels about them, so that he can tell her why he is taking those actions, so that she can hear /know what is going on in his life/in their life.

Being a part of every aspect of Dev's life is Sona's right. How can she be wrong?

Only if he accepts her as a part of the family and show it in front of his family will they understand her imp in his life.

Let us see if Dev has really understood and changes his attitude. When ever there is a problem..he and his mom becomes ONE UNIT...example when the lawyer came ...then at break fast tablewhen GKB taunts or when his mom says something he is very quiet...dont see him trying to make her feel comfortable...

Waiting to see who will sit in the front seat tomorrow...

@Bold -

Sona is a sensible girl. In her words to Dev "I don't want to compete with the existing relationships in your life but complete them". Therefore, she will chose to forego the seat and that is definitely not losing. Relationships are complicated. No wife wants to take the mother's life in her husband's life. You want to make your own space.

Sona is mature enough to understand the complexities of these relationships to a great extent but Ishwari is not. She on the other hand may play the sulk game and give up the seat ...such a drama queen she is 🥱

Normally, other mothers in Ishwari's place wouldn't take that seat.

Let me give you an example...I always offer my MIL and SIL the front seat when my husband is driving but they turn me down. If it happens to be a small car and my MIL needs it, we all insist she takes the front seat. But IShwari is not a normal MIL with basic insecurities. She is more obsessive. But then, how can we complain about that when we all know that is the central track of this story. The CV will gradually unfold how this problem worsens before it gets resolved.

So lets sit back and enjoy the good stuff for now 😃

She can force ,push or irritate Dev to the core to get her involved into his matters or to take inputs from her before taking any decisions . A wife can certainly demand to know that.Specially when it comes to taking personal decisions. Its a good practice in long term😊

But she needs to understand that her rights are limited to Dev so she should not get herself directly involved in something that will impact Neha without Dev's knowledge.

e.g She went to talk to Neha's in-laws without telling anyone. I dint find it right.

That's not correct morally.

Coming to Neha and Ishwari - Their expectations from Dev to keep things hidden from his wife are not correct.

Actually same goes for Saurabh also.

This is absolutely my personal POV as I have ,never been in my life, able to tell a person to do something for me hiding from his/her own spouse as I understand the meaning of life partners. Be it - between my parent/ siblings and their spouses/ friends and their partners. I would never want to be a reason for disagreement or misunderstanding between a husband and wife.

I don't really understand why Ishwari takes a lot of pride when she becomes the reason of disagreement between Dev and Sonakshi.

So if Neha thinks that she can get Dev involved without Sona's knowledge, she is wrong.

Exactly my point...sona's rights are limited to Dev and not Neha. But Neha can very well seek help of Dev without involving Sona as she is his sister. This doesn't mean...Dev cannot discuss this problem with Sona. Dev can get moral support from Sona. Similarly in Saurabh's case, Sona should inform Dev but she can ask him to stay away from the matter and not help her in fund raising though he can provide moral support.

Dev should discuss things with Sona but if I remember correctly Sona didnt even for once told Dev that she is thinking of going to his house. She should have definitely told Dev and not if to Dev then definitely to Neha. It is Neha's matter. Her rights are limited to Dev and not Neha.
Though problem arised by one wrong step of Sona, Dev supported her.
