Sorry dear...but that would be a very illogical argument and not a long-term solution.

Having known similar incidents happening in real life...the best way to go...is adjustment and compromise by both Neha and Ranveer.

Both knew which kind of family background they each belong to. This discussion on finances should have happened before their marriage. Neha belonging to a rich family, means Dev can very surely gift Neha whatever he wants or provide for his sister's future by means of a large money deposit into her account. And Ranveer cannot object to it. Yet what Neha does with this money would be their decision. But this has not happened and would be a temporary financial respite in the long run.

Likewise Neha must understand no matter what, she can't separate Ranveer from his family. Living separately is not the solution.

The first and right solution would be for Neha to work for Dev in whatever capacity she can. This double income would support them financially. Move to a bigger, better home along with R's family. Also it would teach Neha's some life's skills. Sitting at home all her life has made her a replica of GKB in some ways. An empty mind makes the most noise.

Or Ranveer can accept a job at Dev's office.

In both the scenarios they are not accepting freebies from Dev. Ranveer, Neha, Dev & Ish all have to understand that whatever R is given by Dev is based on his position, and title.

Neha must learn it won't be the same as her brother's position and she cannot enjoy the same lifestyle as her spinsterhood. It's a slow progress in life and they both have to work hard towards reaching their financial goals.

Working for Dev does not downgrade him. Whether he works with his BIL or outside, he has to work hard and honestly.

Hope this solution is given to both by Sona individually.

Dev has defo not thought from this angle...but I'm sure sona will soon make him realise this

i really thought thats how RV will respond when Dev brought up the flat yet again. and RV was even doing that with money he was making...until his mom's eye surgery came up.. how inconvenient for Neha and Dixit's 😃 i am surprised makers didnt go full throttle on that scene.. showing Dev the mirror.. between his mom's needs and wife's desires.. what would Dev choose?

Dev cant think beyond the Dixit's. How easily they always blame others... no matter what the situation!!!
