Asian Age:Simrans green room doubles up as study

Simran Pareenja has been having long days on the sets of her show Kaala Teeka. That's because the actress is not only working, but also taking time off shoots to study for her upcoming exams. A third year student studying mass media, Simran is preparing for her exams.

She says, "Since I was a child, I have been the most studious and hardworking student in the family. I feel that education is very important in every person's life. I get my books on the sets and go through the syllabus during breaks and in my free time between the shots. In fact, the cast and crewmembers were joking with me the other day, saying how my make-up room on the sets actually doubles up as my study. Everyone knows that I am preparing for my exams so when they see me engrossed in my studies, they make sure I am not disturbed. I really wish to give my best to both"the shoot as well as my studies."
