Shivaay stormed into Adirut's room. He had had enough of Adirut flirting with Anika all day and the audacity of that woman! She had flirted back! How could she do that to him?

"Adi?! Where are you?" He yelled out to a seemingly empty room.

Adirut walkout back in from the balcony with a dumbbell in his hand. He was like Rudra in many aspects. Being a womaniser and a health freak were just two of them. However, Adirut was a brilliantly cunning businessman just like Shivaay and had been his right hand for as long as Shivaay could remember.

"Shivaay? What happened?" Adirut asked nonchalantly, unbeknown to the storm brewing in Shivaay's heart and mind.

"What was that this morning? Why were you flirting with Anika all day? She is our employee and atleast you should be sensible enough to not chase after her." He chided his brother.

Shivaay had taken up the elder brother role a long time ago and it was moments like these when he forgot that Adirut was just a year younger than him.

"Chill bro. She means nothing to me. She is cute though so I was just trying to pass time with her. It's not like I was looking for something serious with her." Adirut shrugged off the matter as if he couldn't be bothered with it. It was evident that he had the Oberoi ego running in his veins too. Hearing this, Shivaay's blood boiled.

"She's not the type of girl to fool around with. Can't you see that she would make a perfect woman to some man one day?! I'm telling you, stay away from her. Don't break her heart."

Adirut looked at his brother in shock. Never in his entire life had his brother stopped him from pursuing a girl and now, what was so special about her?

Shivaay took a calming breath and turned towards Adirut, speaking much softer this time. "What I meant to say was, sabh usse ghar ka member maante hai. Dadi, Om, Rudra, Priyanka are really fond of her. She has even won over the elders, somehow. None of them would forgive you if you hurt her."

Shivaay felt a little embarrassed at his sudden outburst and left the room right after that. Adirut however was lost in thought. It was evident to him that love had blossomed between Anika and Shivaay, or was atleast in the process of blossoming. He had had this doubt from the very first day, but hadn't realised that Shivaay, who gave so much importance to lineage, would let himself fall for a girl like her. Then again, who knew better than Adirut himself that love wasn't something that was thought out, it just happened. That was why he had said all that about Anika, to see Shivaay's reaction on the matter. However, now it was abundantly clear that Shivaay, without meaning to, had started feeling something for her. No matter how much he lied to himself, deep down probably even he knew the truth. Adirut paced the room, wondering what he could do to bring the two lovebirds together. It seemed that this jealousy might just make Shivaay accept his feelings for Anika, atleast to himself, and that was a start.

Meanwhile, Shivaay was exiting Adirut's room, thinking about the whole matter.

Main aise kyun behave kar raha hu. Adi ne kaha toh hain ki he's

not serious about Anika, toh mujhe kyun problem ho rahi hain.

Vaise Anika aisi ladki nhi hai joh itni aasani se maan jaye. Par

agar voh maan gayi toh?-S

He was so lost in his thoughts that he never saw Anika coming, and they both collided with each other.

"Ow! Aap kya karte hain?! Dekh kar nahi chal sakte, Billu ji?" Anika rubbed the part of her forehead which had crashed into Shivaay's shoulder.

Shivaay who was just a moment ago worried about her head, started fuming hearing her words.

"Don't call me that! And main apne ghar mein chal raha hu. Tum dekh kar nhi chal sakti kya?" He retorted.

"Chorriye! Apse toh baat hi karna bekar hai." Anika started moving forward, shaking her head before Shivaay held her hand and pulled her back. He caressed her head lightly while looking into her eyes.

"Ruko," he ordered. "Tum theek ho?"

She nodded her head, confused at his sudden change of demeanour.

"Tum dekh kar nahi chal sakti?" Shivaay asked again, but this time his voice was much softer, laced with concern.

"Main jaldi mein thi. Mere pass Adirut ki pendrive reh gayi thi. Vahi deni thi usse uske sone se pehle." Anika explained to him and again got really confused at his face becoming completely closed off as soon as she had finished talking.

Shivaay moved back and clenched his fists tightly. Giving her a last once over, he moved away from her as if she burned him. Turning around, he walked off leaving behind a very befuddled Anika.

Inka dimaag toh theek hain? Pata nhi kya chalta rehta hain inke

maan mein. Kanji aankon vaala baagad billa kahi ka.-A

I hope you all liked jealous Shivaay and that this update cleared out Adi's thought process and how he is going to be shaped up as a character going forward.
