Heard L'Oreal had asked Katty to lower her fee, Katty refused, hence they dropped her.

Brands usually ask their ambassadors to lower fee when another celeb as popular as the current ambassador or more popular lobbies to be that brand's ambassador at lower price.

Kangu, Deepu, PC... are the highest paid celeb endorsers right now. Ab mujhe yeh batao.. inn mein se kisne kaha.. "Cannes mein jaane ke liye main 2cr mein bhi endorse karne ko taiyaar hoon"?

P.S. Waise bhi Cannes ke mooli latka ke L'Oreal apne celebs ko apne market price se aadha pay karte hai.

Cannes is no less than the Oscars. It's a Festival and last a few days. Everyone wants to be seen there and the world watch.

The Oscars are an american thing that only last one night.

It's boring too.

Last October, Katrina Kaif parted ways with a French cosmetics brand to launch her own retail venture. Now, it seems her arch rival, Deepika Padukone, has been roped in as the latest face of the company.

A starlet from Versova says Dippy had been sending feelers to the brand officials to sign her, for it could be her ticket to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Apparently, the actress even slashed her endorsement fee by almost 40 per cent to bag the offer. We say though, take the news about the fee slash with a pinch of salt.
