I have seen Ramayana old show by Ramanand Sagar, then movies heard stories. I never felt so deeply until watching Siya ke Ram. Kudos to the writers to go in such depth of human emotions that I related to the stories more deeply and spiritually. Watching it and understanding it made me realize why some elderly people in my life found solace in Ramayana, because I started feeling the same. When I feel sad nowadays I come to this forum or watch Siya ke Ram. I don't how you all feel about this post. But I want to ask you guys, do you feel the same as I do watching it?

Yes Raima atleast for me the feeling is same for me as its for u. How many Ramayan I have seen nd read also but this one is most beautifully expressed. It shows different points different connection and its main essence is its main focus is on Siya's prospective which is also Shree Ram's also bcz they r one not different. All the old Ramayans did show the story but I felt that they only showed us the over all story not the deep emotion. Thats why SKR is feeling more connected to our hearts. And Asish and Madirakshi nd all other casts sply Vijay Anand as Janak always made us proud with their expression, dialogue throw. Writers and cvs also should get their credit.
But it is is not getting that much TRP. Its very disappointing for me.

@Raima I agree to you. It gives an inner peace. But as a child itself I always got peace in Ramayana. Whenever I felt turbulent I used to go and read the translated version available with me. Even when I dont have to do anything I used to simply read Ramayana. Ramayana has a calming effect, but watching SKR made me realize why the calm comes when you touch Ramayan. it is love in its most purest form. Ram's eyes have a serenity into it and Ashish has lived the role as Ram bringing that calmness and serenity of Ram beautifully in his eyes

@Raima very true ! I have always been a fan of Indian mythology ,specially Ramayana.Siya ke ram helped me to understand the epic more deeply not only in the sense of the story but also in understanding it from the perspectives of other ramayana characters.! Made me fall in love with all the characters ! Specially Ashish and Karan !
And the background music of the show is very captivating.just got addicted to them! Wishing them all good luck !

I agree with you, the fact that the TRP's is low is disappointing, because people are missing out on such a beautiful adaptation of Ramayan. I guess what they say is true, you only get to spiritual realization when it's your time, not sooner not later. I feel lucky to watch and feel what I feel absorbing Ramayan in such a profound way. In addition to be a part of this forum and read beautiful articles from spiritually inclined people like you all. So thanks all for responding. Jai Siya Ram

I agree with you Shruthi. I have never seen love portrayed as deeply as in Siya Ke Ram ever. Pure love. Oh God, when Sita went to Ayodhya and saw how her Ram was missing her and realizing how much he truly loved her. Isn't that all women wants? Just that acknowledgment. And somehow the world has made out a monster of women's feelings. They call it neediness. If only they could see what a difference it will do to their life if they acknowledge and respect women. Oh well thT seems like a distant dream. I never had true love in my life, so I live it through Siya ke Ram nowadays.

I know, as if these people were born to play these parts. I wish they release the music on Saavn or something and sell DVD set. I will definitely buy it.

I totally agree with you. For every person there is a particular time when he/she will automatically dragged towards the spirituality. Then he or she will want to read many things on it see many thngs and will have many questions and eventually may get ans also. Sometimes lil children get fascinated by these stories and understand the deep essence which lv great impact on them where sometimes adult people dont value it.

I am lucky from childhood I always love mythological stories. In my home all types of puja are celebrated.I discuss with my mother on different things. But none of my friend find it fascinating to discuss. Now I have all of you to discuss. Its very good thing as much we discuss we can know more thing share more thing increase our knowledge which always helps in practical life. It gives u inner peace.

Oh God I feel lonely not being able to find like minded people who love to discuss spirituality. If I try to with people, they start avoiding me. I used to feel bad for me, now I feel bad for them. I cant make friends with people who are only there to show off their riches and discuss only that. I pretty soon start feeling out of place. Thanks I find my kind of people here. I hope this group keeps running even after the show ends. I just wanna keep learning more and more.even discuss Mahabharata and Bhagwad Gita.

Yes Raima what a woman needs is simple acknowledgement. That her presence is valued. When my hubby asks me to take one extra salwar it makes all the difference or if he asks me you want pani puri it is something. Yes I am working and I have the freedom to buy salwars the way I love or eat pani puri as I wish, but when the other person do it for you it makes a difference. And I can say such small things add lot of value in married life.
