This is where the CVs need to be careful about where they want to push the envelope when it comes to Ishwari's behaviour. Like you said, they don't intend to treat it as Jocasta complex but a woman who wants to remain the centre of her son's world. And doesn't want any woman with her son and The sex part changed the game and that doesn't look good...it does look incestuous.

Look at Ishwari's body language and expression when Dev looks at Sona with a passionate eyes...she tries to push him away or make him feel guilty saying something abt his responsibilities so that his focus on loving Sona is lost...

But what she doesnt understand is a Man wanting to be close to his mate can never be taken away that easily...and some one like Dev who talks of Sona as his Haq from the time he was in love with her...even after a break up he couldnt let her go or tolerate to see her some one else...

I think Ishwari's possessiveness will start slowly irritating him I feel

Let me put it this way...Ish knows Dev is absolutely head over heels in love with Sona...She knows from the bottom of the heart that Sona is a nice girl...but she cant stand Sona in Dev's life...anything that takes away Dev's attention will b challenged by Ish...Ish begged for a toy for Dev and got Sona married to him to get Dev back in her life...what she cant tolerate is parting or sharing away with Dev's affection or attention...in marraige...the physical bonding is equally important for a man and wife to seek comfort in each other...Probably Ish feels the physical proximity might balance out Sona's love more in Dev's eyes ... leaving her yearning for his attention...her insecurity will increase with progressive marital bond of dev Sona ...Someone needs to knock out the insecurities before the devil in her takes over the angel completely

I think the days when Ishwari felt guilty about speaking harshly with Sona are long gone. The devil has done a great job of taking over the woman who was for the most part was reasonable unless it came to sharing her son, be it with Natasha, Sona or the girl at the party.

But keeping the newly weds away from each other is an extreme and naive step, if you look at it. She cannot keep them apart forever coz getting Sona out of the house is not her intent as she knows what Sona means to Dev by now and she saw what happened to Dev when he had parted ways with Sona. So, what exactly is she trying to accomplish by postponing the inevitable. It's behaviour is bordering on stupidity now, one her son will shun. And the woman is too smart to give her game away like this.

Agree with u...the root cause of Ish not willing for the couple's intimacy is her insecurity...she needs to understand...marraige is not a joke like toy khareed ke dena...its their life...i am not clear till when the creatives intention of dragging the consummation with this insecurity of Ish...its already getting on the evil side...possibly the breaking of fast due to the hanky panky by the couple is an indication to Ish's asli avtaar😆
