Nice Post and lots of info...👏
Hope the marriage track does not happen right away.
want to see Om and Anika working together to solve Gayatri's murder with Shivaay in jail.

One Q though..why did Om go and visit Anika? to see her..or to reassure himself that she was ok.. or he wanted to know if she left her heart behind at the mansion??😆😆 hmm... his visit was unexpected and with Anika handing over the files to him..may tie her to Shivaay n the murder...

The spoiler has done its job perfectly and here everyone is going bonkers..wondering ..what is going to happen...hate marriage or not...

Interesting times ahead and hope to see a sensible track.

Well put together thoughts.. These spoilers are designed to be tragedical and to raise BP of viewers. Never understood why they bother disturbing the online viewers, when its TRPs they are after. I have a theory that rival shows do these things to create trouble for the competitors.. 🤣
Omkara wasnt given fabulous lines to say in Annika's house yesterday. He just gave some really adorably sympathetic eye conversation and left. So it was his physical presence in Annika's house that was the plot puzzle piece. Him being there, witnessed by Bua and Annika, going back to see Shivaay. Him witnessing the call, and the vow to end the Gayathri problem. and the phone switch.

Why Omkara? Because he cannot stand to lie.

With so many plot pieces to put together, with the new ACP, I doubt the image of Annika will come into question at all.

I think a couple of people mentioned that Omkara's presence in all these places is to do with his obsession with the truth. Anyone else in his position might lie to help Shivay, but Omkara won't.

Omkara was present at Aanika's house when Shivay's phone should have placed him there. Omkara was present for the call, Shivay's statement and subsequent departure.

The dialogue between Omkara and Aanika was a way to fill air time, in all honesty, but they chose to use it because Omkara wanted to gauge where Aanika stood/felt now regarding Shivay. Right now, he believes there is next to no hope to reunit Shivika.

I mean until the next couple of episodes, everything we think is a theory. We will have a clearer picture by today or tomorrow. In the mean time, we should all be grateful that we have an excellent female lead who in the dark of the night, instead of remember romantic/pleasant memories, remembered that he was a complete and utter jerk.

The whole point of their relationship is about breaking barriers. Him overcoming his biased thinking and her being proud of who she is despite the circumstances of her life. Everyone deserves love.

More than the love story being ruined I find the whole concept disturbing. How forward thinking will this be when she is forced by a society, who doesn't value or respect her into a marrying a man she doesn't love or her reputation will be tarnished. Why should she care about what random stranger think about her? Do they pay her bills? Put food on her table? Help her take care of her brother. No they don't. The whole situation is appalling I hope they don't go with this route.

@bold Completely on point! In fact, someone should rephrase that into a question and pose it to GK on IG. We will most likely get a response, which will help us figure out where they are heading with this story.

Loved your analysis. My concern is to do solely with our amazing female protagonist and her integrity. She has maintained herself with so much dignity till now. Wouldn't want it going down the drain for this ungrateful and elitist man who just tormented her an episode ago.
The only thing that makes me hopeful is the dialogue about the thank you. If under some circumstances she does save him somehow (without her image being tarnished)...I'd like him to acknowledge what she did. Hopefully he is redeemed there on.

@bold It isn't the only thing that makes me hopeful, but it just added to my belief that BSery is not going to take place. I have no evidence within the show that makes believe that this is the path they are going down. If they do, they will have wasted everything they have set up.

Like you, I do not want them to mess up Aanika's characterisation or reduce her to a simpering mess. The last time we thought they did, it was immediately clarified and the following episodes supported that statement. I think the reason they are remaining tight-lipped right now is that they will give away a major plot point if they explained the spoilers.

though i agree to what u said..n even though it is unverified bt gul says its marriage...n spoilers probably spoile the half thing...like they show one side of coin the other is not shown...which we wud get to see soon..
n though anika is not a personality who would do this..bt she can be forced to say it by tej n shakti..bcuz they want to save shivaay..i mean this has a certain probability that they do it n this leads to contract marriage sort off drama till shivaay is 100% free from the case...

Judging by Tej's reaction in yesterday's episode, even if Shivay's life was on the line, they wouldn't take this step. To be honest, what really takes the hate-marriage track out of the running for me is the complete and utter absence of pre-wedding rituals. The contract marriage storyline has only been done twice by this PH, and the first time, it was because lead was an idiot and the second time because the villain had a grand scheme afoot. However, in both cases, the FL had something to lose: Khushi wanted to ensure the PayAsh wedding went ahead and Sanam was completely and utterly dependent on Tanveer's benevolence, since she was her employer and paying to save Dilshaad.

In Aanika's case, she now has power of attorney of Sahil (and most likely guardianship, since Bua is behaving relatively well). Leaving the property, which is actually in Sahil's name again but Aanika is choosing to pay Kalyani back. Also, Kalyani wouldn't force Aanika's hand. Unlike other matriarchs on 4Lion shows, this one is astute and very much in charge. She wouldn't let Tej and/or Shakti get away with trying to use the property to force Aanika's hand. Which brings us to Aanika's employment status. Oberois are powerful but even they can't completely prevent Aanika from getting a job.

There is nothing here, other than PH's story choices on one show more than four years ago, that suggest anything of this sort is going to happen.
