Good news for ADHM & Raees! IMPPA requests to allow the release of completed films with Pak actors!

The unfortunate Uri attacks that happened recently in India, led to a nationwide debate whether Pakistani artists should be allowed to work in Bollywood films or not.
While the opinions from both the industry insiders and the normal audience were divided, Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association (IMPPA), declared a ban on Pak artists in India, till normalcy returns.
This led to the discussion as to what would be the fate of the completed movies like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Raees, Dear Zindagi among others which have actors like Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Ali Zafar respectively.
But it seems, there is some good news for the makers of these movies and they can now heave a sigh of relief.
Filmmaker and social activist Ashoke Pandit got on to Twitter and shared that IMPPA has requested MNS' Amey Khopkar and Shalini Thackeray to allow the release of movies that star Pakistani actors and have been completed.
"#IMPPA meets @ThakareShalini #AmeyKoppikar of MNS & made a representation to not disturb the release of completed films with #PakActors. #IMPPA also seeks appointment with @uddhavthackeray JI to make a request to allow the release of completed films with #PakistaniArtists. #IMPPA very strongly feels the makers & investors of films are #Indians and hence should not be at loss.#Pakis hv made money & gone," posted Pandit.
