Raja is terrified of being like Kaal.
His also obviously embarrassed of being his son.
I don't think he is like Kaal. He has done some terrible things but he won't be Kaal.

Rani being by his side makes him a better person.

He is definitely Kaal's son. He treats rani like crap whenever he feels like it just the same way his father tortures him mom. i cant forget the way he kept rani trapped and showed no remorse when she was screaming in pain when he was forcefully getting her tatooed. Now he has kissed bindu who knows he might start an affair with her too like Kaal did with jeevan's mom
