So, the promo may be implying that due to circumstances Ashish is getting engaged to Neela when he should be cheering his daughter who is participating in a sports competition.

Are these circumstances beyond his control? Is he succumbing to circumstances out of choice? Or is he succumbing to circumstances because it is not worth the fight?

Or is the tagged line meant for Avni - will Avni's hope and belief in her dad be destroyed because of circumstances, that is - her dad's absence?
