Sounds to me like he is dissing other outsiders more than praising SRK. Wonder if any target in particular like Shahid for dropping out of that film they were supposed to act in together? I like Shahid but he's certainly done a lot of "useless" roles.

Oh he definitely has ego, but not where work is concerned.

He came to BW entirely on his own, he came from the small screen, his first movie was as the 2nd hero, then he did 3 anti-hero/ villain roles which brought him great fame and stardom.

He did those roles rejected by others, he took risks and WON!
