Preeti Puri of Wadoon Ki Aganipariksha… Naginn fame is now entering Babul Ka Sapna Bidaai. A whole new Kashyap family is going to be seen in the show and Preeti is going to play Avani, the eldest daughter-in-law of this family.
About her character, she says, "It is not an out and out negative character like my earlier role of Tanisha in Mamta. There are three bahus in the Kashyap family - I am the eldest and Sadna and Ragini are going to be 2nd and 3rd bahus. We have not started shooting for the show as yet."
Do you follow this show? "I used to follow it regularly. Initially, it was similar to the film Vivah but now there are many twists and turns. I think it has a great track now and next month too there is going to be a very important track which will change the entire flavour of the show."
On her other show Naginn, Preeti says, "Right now my track is not there as I died in the show last month. So they have told me that my track will come again after a month. Naginns do not have ages so when I died in the show I was 2000 years old but I will take re-birth."
Speaking about her experience of working with snakes, she says, "Initially I was scared of them but one day my friend and co-actor Ali told me that they are very lovely animals and asked me to touch them. Though these snakes are non poisonous and even their mouths are tied with a thread I am still scared of them."
Earlier, Preeti was also seen in some Balaji shows like Kahin Toh Hoga and Kehna Hai. She wants to play positive characters again with which she started her career. "I guess since I have played grey characters earlier now I am only getting negative roles," she says.
Let's hope Preeti's wish is granted soon.
