Lucky Pakistan! The people of POK are probably much nicer than the scoundrels in Indian Kashmir. The Army has done so much for them and yet they are cahoots with the militants and do everything to harm not just the Army but their own state. All those ungrateful wretches would have drowned in the floods 2 years back, hadn't the Army gone out of its way to rescue them!

The Indian Government has pumped in millions of dollors to promote tourism there, but the youth of Kashmir would rather waste their time being rebels than earn their living through honest means.

They want the army to leave, but the Kashmiri's themselves know that the moment the Army vacates Kashmir, militancy will take over the entire state.

And there is no question of giving up Kashmir or making it independent. It doesn't belong to the people currently living there only. What about the Kashmiri Pandits who were either massacred or thrown out by the Muslim majority? Kashmir belongs to them too and they very likely want to return to their homeland some day.

Actually they are and I believe whether you are hindu or muslim that land belongs to all who have been living in Indian side of Kashmir for generations. Why do they want independence anyway, are they not getting what they want from their government. To me rebellion never ends well and should talk about the issues they are having instead of spreading violence in such a beautiful valley.

That's a lie. Google Dr. Shabir Choudhry and you'll know all the atrocities done by Paki government in POK. There is zilch tourism in POK and you are saying its booming 😆. I guess Pakis are the only ones visiting POK. If anyone wants to know the reality of POK or Gilgit Baltistan(which is a part of Kashmir) India Forums is not the right place.

Excuse me do you live there or I or have you been there. I am telling you what I have seen and talked with the people there. In fact I have been to Gilgit as well and if I were you would not believe one man.

Also I would not trust everything that written on websites on google search. I agree about one thing India forums specifically BW section is not the right place to discuss politics or religion.

I am not sure whose politicians are dumber and fickle wasting time on pointless hollow things - us or them?
