I would say the judge was biased in favor of the girls. He was throughout very sensitive to them and chided both the lawyers multiple times when they asked them uncomfortable questions or made insensitive remarks. But I guess this is required in trials like this. You wouldnt want even the judge to look at them the same way Rajbir or his lawyers would look at them in cases like this. But since there were two cases filed each by the girl and the boys hence the girls won the case and charges against the boys were proved. You wont get a confession everytime. You have to rely on circumstantial evidence and witness of the girls based on which they were proven guilty.
