I wanted to see a romantic movie in theater never saw one since ages so I thought of giving Pakistani movie Jaanan a try bcoz of Armaan Malik's song and also no BW in romannce genre available. Sorry no offence but it was the worst movie ever. It was so slow I was like what is going on when wiill this be over. Indian TV serials r better than this and makes more sense than this movie. I liked some of Pakistani dramas so I thought movies would be even better. So are all Pakistani movies like this or this one was specially bad?

I haven't watched any Pakistani movies but I'm guessing there are obviously some good ones out there. Just like all BW movies aren't terrible if you had had a bad experience watching an Indian one.

Did a quick google search and these are supposed to be good if you wanted to try again: Bol, Waar, Khuda kay Liye,

I believe Pakistani drama industry is way ahead of the Indian one and similarly Bollywood is way ahead of the Pakistani film industry. Not that I've watched a Pakistani film ever. Just general observation from reading around.

No you watched the wrong film or maybe it was just not your taste, if you really wanna see a great Pakistani movie, I would suggest you to watch BOL the film is about a man who wants to have a son and after 6 daughters, his wife gives birth to a son but the problem is that the boy is intersex. Film is maybe a bit long but believe me it's an emotional rollercoaster ride and will definitely like it.

other Pakistani films that I would suggest you.
Khuda ke liye, starring Fawad khan.
Waar
Bin roy ( but the serial is also coming out )
Ho man Jahaan
Actor in law ( om puri also worked in the film )
zindagi kitani haseen hai ( romantic )

Other than that I would say, Pakistani cinema when trough a difficult time, yes compared to Pakistani serials , Pakistani films are little behind, our dramas are way bigger and maybe that's why you didn't like the film because you had high expectations after watching Pakistani serials, the way bollywood is bigger than Indian serials, Pakistani dramas are better than Pakistani films

I really want to watch Ho Mann Jahaan, but it's nowhere to be found! Where do you guys watch, if its out of theaters?

@ serendipity_10, my cousin live in Belgium and whenever he come to Netherlands he bring DVD for me cause Pakistani films are very difficult to find on the internet but I would try to search for you, if I find any link I will pm you.

this one didn't made sense from the start like no story at all

not even proper scenes between the leads that showed they were falling in love tthey were directly in love

I was genuinely curious bcoz I thought that it would be better than dramas so wanted to make sure what was the review for this movie like if it was gud then the problem was with all the films

atleast in BW we have some reviews to help us
