Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi : Dear Ritwick - Thank You For Being An Angel In Disguise !
There is a dearth of good cameos on TV these days. In fact, there are two types of cameos, one who are bad and another who are good but they still make viewers so insecure that their presence become cringe worthy. Ritwick, on the other hand, had been a very different and likable character since the beginning. Probably the only cameo who never got much hate from the viewers. He was welcomed into the story and he made his exit with respect and dignity.
Before leaving, you didn't let Sonakshi say 'sorry' to you people. You came to make her realise her mistake and willfully went away after fulfilling your purpose. In Sona's life you have been a true gem. Trust me, if there had been no Dev in the scenario, people would have hooted for you only for Sonakshi. You are the perfect gentleman in every way.
Truly, seeing you, I realise there are two kinds of people on earth. One, who make us fall in love. Two, who make us understand love. While Sonakshi fell in love with Dev, you belong to the second category who made her understand her love and her own state of mind. Thank you for that.
Ritwick, you even said certain true words to Bijoy. As a parent, even he is behaving like Ishwari since two episodes. He is royally ignoring his daughter's pain, her heartbreak and is making himself believe that Sonakshi is fine and happy with her life. This is exactly something that Ishwari did. Yesterday when you mentioned about his mistake to him, we don't know if it dawned on him, but surely if there was anyone who could tell him that then it was you. How I wish, you had such a moment with Ishwari too! Although you were her choice, but you never got to face her once. No matter how selfish Ishwari is shown in the show, her choice for Sona has been great! Unknowingly, she through your medium became someone to bridge the gap between Dev and Sonakshi.
You also have been the only one probably who understood Dev and Sonakshi more than themselves. You were the one who told Sonakshi how Dev is unable to handle his emotions. How men in general become tactless in handling complication relationship crisis. And again you were the one, who yesterday made Sonakshi understand her mistake as well.
Ritwick, as you say, there are surely two kinds of people in the world. One, who takes away things from us and another one who gives us infinity number of great memories. You belong to the second category. You have been the person who have given us great memories. Yes, we have started talking like you. We also have started believing the your 'Two Types Theory'. I remember you first theory you once said, 'There are two kinds of people in the world. One who eats a whole pizza and another one who eats only the soft part of the pizza. I don't like eating pizza. But I know, if I did, I would have eaten the whole pizza'. This is how life has been for you. You accepted life with both its good and bad aspects. You do not believe in accepting only the good and that's what make you one of the most lovable characters of Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi. Thank you for being so gentle, patient, friendly and mature. If there had been one character in the show so far who has understood every shade of love and relationship in the show, then it has been you and that also in such a short span of time.
Thank you for this short yet beautiful journey.
P.S: Jay Soni has been absolutely fabulous as Ritwick. His approach towards playing the character made it look all the way more gentle and understanding. We hope to see him back on screen again with another such stupendous role.
Truly... It was one of the best cameos and Jai was brilliant as Ritwick.๐
