TRP rating still at 2.6

I am surprised to see the trp rating of this show at 2.6 and still features among the top 6 shows. The show is being bashed on this forum on regular basis and the forum too isnt very active, cus most of the loyal viewers have either left watching the show or just dont bother to come here and comment. Cus off lately most of the tracks have become extremely unbearable to watch. I watch this show on recorded PVR and finish the track in less than 10 mins, cus most of the dialogues are repeated by each and every member of GKD.

After every couple of tracks there will be a track which will show GKD wasi come across Police station and Chalu Pandey. Be it gold biscuits track,drug's track, Bawri's track and now the sari track or the umpteen number of tracks in the past. In real life a middle class person rarely comes across or always avoids Police station.

That's because the trp janta is not on IF.This show is hugely popular in Gujarat, maharashtra and north india. There are many loyal viewers who watch this show without fail because they love it.

The quality of the show has gone down below the earth.It's no more a good comedy show but people still prefer to watch it because it's different and better than other daily soaps.

If u look at IF,most of the shows which are in top 10 on chaska meter have low trps while this show which has very good trps has hardly anyone discussing about it.

IF is not considered an ideal site to know the success and popularity of tv shows and tv stars.

100%%% agree with shubha...

if or for that matter virtual world has nothing to do with trps...

if u see only shows which have good tep survuve no matter what crap rhy show...

I came to the forum after many months and found this post. You see I too was a loyal viewer till last year. But now I simply can't watch it. I swear I tried to watch an episode of this saree track but when it was so silly that I couldn't even finish the episode, Chod diya !😕

What Subha is saying is sp right ! IF is not a parameter of real success. The only reason I can think of the show's success is they have no competition for this genre. But as of now I have left watching the show

IF is mainly fr online janta.
TMKOC is clean comedy .some thing that we can see during eating dinner .

But offlate due to stupid tracks like this Sari ki kahani.I m not watching it.

After popatlals wedding track i lost interest in the show,it was just too much,but i enjoyed bhaghas engagement track,but watching old episodes,this show is better than what's on tv right now,all the best Tarak Mehta team

it is just the stubbornness of Asit Modi, who is refusing to move the story forward and taking viewers for granted and keeps on repeating the same story again and again. Or else TMKOC still has lots of fuel left in it.
