Sorry guys had to create a new topic in order to voice my opinion more clearly lol
whilst reading the topic about Sid statements I was very upset about what Sid said. However I watched the interview and all the discussion and hype was over nothing.
Sometimes we all may mix up and have trouble articulating whatever we feel or want to say and I think that's what happened with this case.
He did say he is not that insecure to compete with a female actress ( i think he just meant that he is working on a film and he should be working on himself, his focus should be on improving himself and not competing with his co-actor, who in this case happens to be a female)
with the male and female energy, he is right different things are expected about males and females from the audience, there is no movie where the actress doesn't dance whilst the actor does, atleast not in bw ( sorry if i am wrong) he didn't say males are meant to "act", he just said something different is what is expected of them in comparison to females.
