Thank god! The episode was not what it looked like in the precap.

I thought mamaji would misguide Dev but it was Dev who was misguided, all by himself.

What was the highlight was mamaji saying

"Dev, tu itna bhi bechara nahi hai"

Sums up the entire situation for me👏. Dev is acting as if he has no control over the situation, forcing himself towards misery. He thinks it is not in his hands to have sonakshi in his life, that it is his destiny to live without her. Mamaji says it loud and clear,

"Maine tujhe kaha tha ke tere liye mushkil hoga, tujhse ye rishta todne ko nahi kaha tha"

Dev found the easy or should I say the painful way out, rather than trying he just gave up. He is not wrong, from his own persepective..He thinks it is his duty to be obediently following his mother's commands.

Mamaji reminds him he has a life too, he has the right to love,to live.

My heart went out to him when that lone tear escaped his eyes when Mamaji said that you and Sonakshi both would be alone and like a child, he said

"Nahi mamaji, usne apne liye ladka pasand kar liya hai"🥺

Aww, Dev! You really expected Sona to wait for you all her life, right? Never expecting her to try growing out of your love?

Oh god! Dev, Mamaji is giving you the essence of his life!😆 I always wondered why such a sorted person like mamaji is stuck with GKB. Sambhal jao, otherwise you will have to live with GKB Part 2. 😆🤢

I was dying to hear Dev admit that He has hurt Sonakshi to the extent that this girl no longer believes in love. At this point, I believed Dev was very honest with himself , because as Mamaji said he has built walls so that "Sach ka sooraj" doesn't peek in and the pep talk with mamaji actually helped him acknowledge the truth. .otherwise he went back to being disillusioned that Sonakshi is trying to hurt him by marrying Ritwik.

Mamaji is really sensible, he said it to Dev that He took the decision for all the lives, for Sona, for her family, He was trying to say that Sonakshi is marrying R because Dev's decision affected her so bad and she can't be truly happy without him.

Dev registered everything selectively!

He just took in " Galat decision le rahi hai" and omitted the "He is responsible for it" part.

Wake up, Dev!

I literally felt like banging my head when Dev came running towards Ishwari, this guy, will he ever come over this "My bhagwan, Mummy!' thing.😡

Ishwari literally enjoys Dev being so damn worried for her all the time, so lethal.

Sona is definitely smiling with R but she not even 1% emotionally attached to him. He opened up about his vulnerable past but Sonakshi couldn't lend him the emotional support at that point. She was interested just as a friend, this relation will never progress from this point, and I feel bad for R if he is a genuine personality.

R is already sure that Sonakshi is not going to marry him, "Agar meri us se shaadi hui TOH!"

Why did he tell this to Bijoy, he should have talked to Sonakshi first.😡

The precap was a shocker, because Ishwari coldly asked Dev to stop calling Sonakshi. She didn't care about her so called goddess image before him.

I am glad that Dev didn't stop after Ishwari asked him to. Excited⭐️

mamaji is guiding him like a father !!! He got his support !!! he will now has to realise that he too has his own life and have live it !!!

Dev just needs to be reminded that the situation is very much in his control, if he decides that He wants to be with Sonakshi. He needs to realise that he doesn't need to do this indirect stalking and poking in her life to get her back, all he needs to do, is be a man and apologize for what he did, take a stand for her and be ready to cross all the hurdles to be with her.

He is powerful enough to do all that, just needs a push.

Once he knows this, There will be no looking back.😃

Beautiful post! You know I was so angry with Mamaji after the precap yesterday that I actually made a post. Glad to see that it all went nothing like how I expected.

Dev has selective hearing sometimes it seems 😆

I don't want to comment much else because you've basically summed up my thoughts as well. But it was nice to see at least some sort of a backstory for Ritwick. I do feel like he's a genuine person, so let's see what's up ahead for us viewers :)

Its amazing how just the title of your post ends up summing up the entire episode. Brilliant post, as always, Saumya👏⭐️

I agree with everything you're saying. Dev suffers from selective hearing, just like his mother. He is more like his mother than I initially thought.

I like how the writers have inserted this Mamaji being in love angle, no wonder he can understand Dev so well. Poor mamaji, had to end up with a nightmare like GKB.

Dev should take this as a warning, if he's not careful he will also end up with another GKB. But No no, that won't happen na, His pyaari Momma will not let him marry only.

Arghhh I just can't bear Dev-Ishwari mutual appreciation scenes anymore, I am so tired of it.

Dev really needs to learn how to listen properly. He again misconstrued what Mamaji said and formed his own stupid conclusions and is gonna make an even uglier mess of the situation now.

Sonakshi and R are on paper the perfect couple, but they don't really feel anything for each other. Like you said, Sonakshi was listening to him as a friend, not as a potential life partner.

I hope Dev finds out about R's ex then gets her back and takes up the mission of uniting R with his ex. Atleast that would be productive.

Somehow, the episode feels so incomplete without a Devakshi scene na? I hope they keep giving us flashbacks atleast.

Today's was a nice, normal, sane episode! Thank God!

Dev couldn't get over what Sona told him. Her words kept playing over & over again in his head. And he ends up hurting himself. He crushed the glass that was in his hand. His heart was aching & that physical pain was nothing compared to what he was going through inside. 💔

Mamaji was in his senses today. He didn't think Dev would end his relationship when he told him about Ishwari's feelings in the hospital. He tells him it's not too late & there is still time to mend things.

"Tujhe kush rehene ka haq hai, tujhe apni zindagi jeenae ka haq hai aur tujhe pyar karne ka haq hai."

How can he go against what his mother wants. How can he hurt her intentionally now. Dev realizes that he has hurt Sona a lot & she's suffering because of him. And because of him she has lost her faith in love as well. He cant get over his mother's hospital incident. How can he let her go through the same state again... ??

"Ma sab kuch hai aur sonakhsi kuch bhi nahi??" Mamaji asks... How nicely he tells him that he is suffering & he was making Sona also suffer. Mamaji asked him if he was willing to live alone for the rest of his life...And if he expected Sonakshi to do the same as well??... Dev says that Sonakshi will find someone for herself. He said that with so much sadness... I felt Dev was so much more sane & calm today. It's like he has almost accepted that she was going away from him & then after Mamaji's moral boost...he was all pumped up again.

Don't make decisions for all, Mamaji tells him. He was so right!

"Sonaskhi tere alawa kisi ke saath khush nahi reh payegi" ...That opened his eyes.. Because of him she was destroying her life as well. He was at fault. Dev was talking aloud for both of them here, not only for Sona. They both can't be without each other. And if she marries also she will never be happy, she'll only be hurt. The thought of her having an unhappy life was so disturbing for him..

So glad that Mamaji gave him this gyan today. He needed someone to talk to & someone who could guide him...

Forgot to add this one it:

Dev felt so terrible when he realized that he forgot to pick up Ishwari. I felt as if he was so scared that she'll think something & she'll hurt herself again... Imagine the trauma that he must be going through every time when his mother's name comes up. It's like he's literally hanging always... The way he ran into her room & apologized to her... It's so so sad to see a son bound like a slave to his mother's emotions. It was his duty to be a perfect son & he failed once & he didn't want to fail again...It's really heart breaking to see Dev like this. Normally, these days when Ma-beta scene plays out, I just roll my eyes... But today somehow I felt so sad for this messed up child...

Soumya brilliant post as usual. Loved the title again. So apt.👏

It was really heart wrenching to watch Dev running to his mother guilt ridden with so much fear. Her emotional blackmail have made a slave out of him. He is always having Damocles sword over his head. How suffocating is this. Can't breath, can't love and can't live. What a pity. Will try to write sometime later. Too disturbed by that scene.

Mamaji is pushing him in right direction ..

He is instigating him..and I have hope this should work ..

Any way but If Dev realizes he needs to stand up for his life ..his love ..then what can be better then that..mamaji states everything very smartly yet clearly..and few of his dialogs were so hard hitting.."tujhe pyar karne ka haq hai" "tujhe zindagi jeene ka haq hai".." M sab kuch hai aur Sonakshi kuch bhi nahi "..he ignited the fire inside him and even he realized it ..and I got so hopeful..mamaji says point to point stuff..which I absolutely love👏

Though I could understand Dev too ..He can not hurt his mothr ..and which kid wants to do that..his fear when he broke up were right when he saw his mothr fighting for life and now he is scared if that happens again..I could completely understand it also..I dont agree he followed his moter's commands ..he wanted to save her life thats why he did it

Like mamaji said "ye rishta mushkil hoga" , this time he has to take hard decision..and stand firm with it.

Oh that moment when he wiped his tear was heartbreaking :( poor boy

Okay arey He knows he is responsible for hurting sonakshi..apne mooh se bhi bola ab toh..so ye selectively kahan hua ..he needs to atleast stop her from doing that disaster ..ye SOS hai 😒

Ishwari gets worried .."woh mujhe lene kyun nahi aaya" ..hey bhagwaan ..hopeless case hai :(..Dev bechara such a sweet boy gets all worried seeing her mothr hurt :(..bada afsos hota hai he cant realize what ishwari feels sighh

I just hope this session with mamaji acts well for Dev :)

RItik suspicious laga mujhe in the last scene ..I felt uncomfortable ..lets see ..what exactly I feel in upcoming episodes 😆

well precap ne mood off kar diya ..baat banti hi hai..jab tak bigadne ki naubat aajati hai 😆

thank god mamaji didn't wait for right time today... and for that very thing👏👏👏 this to mamaji... he ignited the fire in dev today and for once after break up i thought dev was doing something right by calling sona but sona ignored them ... fair enough coz they had major showdown in the afternoon, how can anybody think sane at that point...

but guess tomorrow the fire in dev will be washed by the mother and our dev will again go back to zero...

i can now for see the sequence

sona rithwick engagement- sona will be expecting him to come or call but he won't do coz mother must have said something or he might think sona really wants to move on...

angry dev will gift date to sonakshi and ritwick which again will irritate sona...

then he drinks, sleep in office and sona giving him promise...

can i plz say as much i am hating ishwari bijoy is also going on same track... he is now getting on my nerves... he is now pushing sona... he has stop understanding sona... rithwick understand sona more now than bijoy... he just want her to get married ASAP...

P.S- i don't but i have a feeling that this going to end in kuch kuch hota hai style... i have a strong hunch regarding this...
