Today's was a nice, normal, sane episode! Thank God!Dev couldn't get over what Sona told him. Her words kept playing over & over again in his head. And he ends up hurting himself. He crushed the glass that was in his hand. His heart was aching & that physical pain was nothing compared to what he was going through inside. 💔Mamaji was in his senses today. He didn't think Dev would end his relationship when he told him about Ishwari's feelings in the hospital. He tells him it's not too late & there is still time to mend things."Tujhe kush rehene ka haq hai, tujhe apni zindagi jeenae ka haq hai aur tujhe pyar karne ka haq hai."How can he go against what his mother wants. How can he hurt her intentionally now. Dev realizes that he has hurt Sona a lot & she's suffering because of him. And because of him she has lost her faith in love as well. He cant get over his mother's hospital incident. How can he let her go through the same state again... ??"Ma sab kuch hai aur sonakhsi kuch bhi nahi??" Mamaji asks... How nicely he tells him that he is suffering & he was making Sona also suffer. Mamaji asked him if he was willing to live alone for the rest of his life...And if he expected Sonakshi to do the same as well??... Dev says that Sonakshi will find someone for herself. He said that with so much sadness... I felt Dev was so much more sane & calm today. It's like he has almost accepted that she was going away from him & then after Mamaji's moral boost...he was all pumped up again.Don't make decisions for all, Mamaji tells him. He was so right!"Sonaskhi tere alawa kisi ke saath khush nahi reh payegi" ...That opened his eyes.. Because of him she was destroying her life as well. He was at fault. Dev was talking aloud for both of them here, not only for Sona. They both can't be without each other. And if she marries also she will never be happy, she'll only be hurt. The thought of her having an unhappy life was so disturbing for him..So glad that Mamaji gave him this gyan today. He needed someone to talk to & someone who could guide him...
Forgot to add this one it:Dev felt so terrible when he realized that he forgot to pick up Ishwari. I felt as if he was so scared that she'll think something & she'll hurt herself again... Imagine the trauma that he must be going through every time when his mother's name comes up. It's like he's literally hanging always... The way he ran into her room & apologized to her... It's so so sad to see a son bound like a slave to his mother's emotions. It was his duty to be a perfect son & he failed once & he didn't want to fail again...It's really heart breaking to see Dev like this. Normally, these days when Ma-beta scene plays out, I just roll my eyes... But today somehow I felt so sad for this messed up child...

True, the physical pain was nowhere in comparison to what he was going through internally, hence we did not even see him pay attention to the wound when the glass broke, had mama not entered. .it would have been unattended till the blood clotted all by itself.

Dev said that he could not hurt Ishwari, that she was everything to him. Mamaji says this, and reminds him if he is even bothered about how he hurt Sonakshi? Whether she actually holds meaning in his life. Infact, Mama's questions were just a reminder to him, nothing else.
I have noticed how Mamaji apart from being the guiding force in both Ishwari and Dev's life, is more of a mirror to let them see what is going on in their minds, but they still wont see.
Oh yes, Aksh I totally agree. I feel bad for him because he is emotionally hanging on a cliff always when it comes to his mother. And I feel worse because Ishwari misuses this emotional slavery and actually enjoys it. She knows how scared he is for her, that he feels that he is failing as a child everytime Ishwari is in pain, still she uses this to feed her self-esteem and pride.
