I wont agree on analogizing thing..I want them to talk where Dev explain his situation and his reason for breakup and she understands him and Sona explains how she felt , her emotions what she went through and Dev understands it ..and if they can feel each other's pain and even majbooris too..then only things will sort out ..and they will be together in true sense..its all about unconditional support and togetherness 😃

But I have a different take on this. Looking at dixit's it seems all of them love to control and oh predict too future of others lives. First it was Ishwari who tried controlling Sona's life, then it was Dev who is still trying to control and now its mamaji predicting about what or what not Sonakshi would do. Dev behaving like a person with no brain of his own. His mother, Sona (to some extent) and mamaji tells him something and he immediately goes with what they said. Does he not need to sit and think on his own for just once.

I am sorry but when did Mamaji say "the rista would be difficult to handle" to Dev in hospital. For I understood him telling directly, Dev-Sona relation is the problem and after he went to meet sonakshi, Ishwari being unhappy tried committing suicide behind his back. Or did I miss something. 😕

Did mamaji the one who does not dare open his mouth in front of Ishwari and instead keep praising Ishwari all the time about how Dev worships him and never would do anything against her wish, not know the consequences of his unwanted big words talk (just like Ishwari) he gave to Dev about him living a life with Sonakshi. Did he tell even once that Ishwari is wrong, no, never. Shouldn't he would have said talk to your mother first and convince her before going to Sonakshi. What is this twisted brain idea, go and get her before its too late. The problem is within their own home sitting like a demi-god (Ishwari) but no one dares to address that and keep playing with the lives of others. Hell he didn't even tell Dev, its Ishwari who is trying Sona to get married asap by sending rista to her place.

Now dev being dev, again would do bigger blunders to try bring Sonakshi to him.

I don't want to comment much else because you've basically summed up my thoughts as well. But it was nice to see at least some sort of a backstory for Ritwick. I do feel like he's a genuine person, so let's see what's up ahead for us viewers :)

I agree with everything you're saying. Dev suffers from selective hearing, just like his mother. He is more like his mother than I initially thought.

I like how the writers have inserted this Mamaji being in love angle, no wonder he can understand Dev so well. Poor mamaji, had to end up with a nightmare like GKB.

Dev should take this as a warning, if he's not careful he will also end up with another GKB. But No no, that won't happen na, His pyaari Momma will not let him marry only.

Arghhh I just can't bear Dev-Ishwari mutual appreciation scenes anymore, I am so tired of it.

Dev really needs to learn how to listen properly. He again misconstrued what Mamaji said and formed his own stupid conclusions and is gonna make an even uglier mess of the situation now.

Sonakshi and R are on paper the perfect couple, but they don't really feel anything for each other. Like you said, Sonakshi was listening to him as a friend, not as a potential life partner.

I hope Dev finds out about R's ex then gets her back and takes up the mission of uniting R with his ex. Atleast that would be productive.

Somehow, the episode feels so incomplete without a Devakshi scene na? I hope they keep giving us flashbacks atleast.
