The story before Ishu's smoking stove drama is more relatable and I was able to connect every character to someone close to me... And even in the halwa scene when Ishu appeared to feel bad for Sona while Dev commented on her halwa, I thought she's in the right mode to start her realization...
I can related shades of Ishwari to one or the other person from my own life (we are quite big family with lot of mothers/mils & fathers)๐Ÿ˜†... The one that I was rooting for is what I saw in the original Ishu which is thrown out for the hunger of drama by the makers... And the one which Ishu is playing now is also there in my family but I cannot root for that woman... Because the mix of these two shades are very very difficult... Either the mind game works crudely or the heart on job hurting inside them-self more than the others...

Looks like the CVs themselves didn't want us to empathize with Ishwari... ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

I dont think so..If that were the case, the writer wouldn't be requesting the viewers not to judge Ishwari and understand her..Which is downright ridiculous..Why don't you write her character in such a way that we understand her instead of going overboard and then requesting us not to be judgmental ๐Ÿ˜† Sonakshi and Ishwari as a pair had so much potential..Above and beyond the cliched saas bahu arc and the kind of scenes the creatives wrote for them in the last few weeks..I still remember that scene where Sona is upset cos Kushal rejected the proposal..Ishwari told her in the most matter of fact manner that its his loss he couldn't recognize the gem that is Sona..That is the real Ishwari..Yes she is disturbing, her obsession pushes her to do crazy things which she normally wouldn't do but she was a nice person at the end of it all..That contrast is what made her fascinating..The creatives have effectively killed that conflict in the last few weeks and its terrible because hers had the most fascinating character arch and her journey had so much potential..I just don't see that anymore..And given how the writers are planning to go about this with the whole third angle and jealousy track, i just don't see how they can convincingly show Ishwari's journey without making it cliched and haphazard..A half baked redemption and unfair justification of her actions will make things even worse ๐Ÿ˜†

@skye- Its an old film called Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal..Its a fascinating story on what insecurity and unhealthy possessiveness can lead to..

Just WOW. Superb brilliant beautiful analysis dear๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

This show has made us mad for sure. I never was affected so much by fictional characters. It feels as if they are a part of our life. They are 24/7 in our minds๐Ÿคช

The right is yours till you are hurting inside.. And the more you stay hurt the more he holds the rights on you... And you have given the power to him because you have made him more important than yourself. Now steal that right of yours to heal yourself.. at your own pace... allowing yourself to take the time you need... Yes, the damage will be there.. but learn to not let it control you and your life... You would become better off healed than ever was unbroken... You will now explore the strength which you think is not there in you...

Give yourself the time.. It may not teach you anything new.. But it will allow you to accept the flow and let you know that you can live with the pain and slowly the pain will be part of you without hurting you...

This is beyond beautiful dear. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ โญ๏ธ Thank you so much and hugs for this post.

๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜† I don't know whether it's good or bad... But something more to do with the Forum where I can share it...

@bold: ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿค—Now that you have reminded me all that's lost between them, I am getting into a sad mode... Need to vent it out in a spoof now... ๐Ÿ˜†
@red: Yes, they are only gonna justify her after doing everything... Finally we will no option other than to get relieved that at least it happened... ๐Ÿ˜†

I had always wanted Sona to have had a glimpse of Ish's this state of mind during the Natasha track... They really had all the potential to open up to each other.. At least Ishwari to open up to Sona giving Sona an idea about it all.. And giving her the maturity to deal with the same and open it up to Dev, who wasn't seeing it then... All could have been way different than this... But yeah... then they had to a lot of hard thinking and tough and intelligent writing... ๐Ÿ˜† Which may not have reached the wider audience who likes everything to be said explicitly loud and clear ๐Ÿ˜†...

OMG!! That movie... What a way to portray the possessiveness of the woman.. And I really really felt bad for her at the end... She in the hospital and sensing herself as a dumb girl without her possessive and jealous feeling... And the track of her showcasing the possessiveness was so difficult to handle... It was a 2.5 hr movie and so it was all watchable... ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜†

Bang on..That kind of summarizes all the issues i have with the show right now ๐Ÿ˜† I know i keep criticizing and nit picking but i cant help it..Cos i did have a lot of expectations from the show..There are a 100 different ways they could have gone about this..Without the melodrama and going overboard with Dev and most importantly Ishwari..The whole Ishwari taunting Sona and making below the belt remarks and Sona having the last word is so petty and cliched..Why are they being reduced to this is beyond me..And i know they'l only make it worse..Ishwari searching for potential grooms for Sonakshi is a joke ๐Ÿ˜† Joke on her character..Now that you have gone so far with it, please don't try justifying it ๐Ÿ˜†

So true about the subtlety..Its been a while since i felt that magic on the show..I know ppl might jump on me for this but there is this scene before Dev's engagement when he rushes to meet Sona when he finds out she is sick..During the course of the conversation, there is this tiny moment where he stares at Sonakshi as she washes her face..That one moment was more romantic than all their post confession scenes combined..Atleast IMO..I dig that subtlety..I cant take cheesy declarations and that is exactly what they were reduced to for quite some time now..And then the whole melodrama that followed just made it worse..Oh well, i should stop before i go overboard ๐Ÿ˜†

Yeah its a fabulous film..But then again, someone like KB is not on the same footing as the writers of this show so its unfair to even expect that level of sensitivity ๐Ÿ˜†

You are all about Girl Power, ain't you!!! totally love it ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Seriously, these 2 are not ready to be in the ishq wala love. Both have a lot of learning to do...

The break-up scene and their love, I will keep aside for now ...

BUT

what I loved yesterday was ... Sona coming back to hospital the next morning. Not looking a least bit like she cried her heart out the whole night. Her hello auntiji! Standing there solidly handing over the papers ... and finally her calm, straight and correct words to Ishwari at the door. Loved her words. Loved her...
She has her head screwed on straight & a family to lean on when she breaks...

Makers - Please carry on in this vein...

I would love to see this Sona handling the new guy in town not a girl on rebound...

Yes time will heal ,I know this an unpopular opinion I do not want Sona to ever go back to Dev. Like she said he does not deserve her and want a guy for her who knows how to balance his relationships. I really like Sona but this is an Indian tv where the reality is far away.
Ishwari seems like a sociopath to me, these kind of people thrive on control and tend to fake emotions, also are very good at faking.
