Haha thank you..I'l be honest here..The reason i initially started watching the show was because of Supriya P..I found the promos intriguing but the biggest draw for me was the fact that Supriya is playing the role..That woman owns every role she plays..Right from Tu tu Main main to SGP to now KRP..She doesn't get enough credit cos she is playing a crazy and inconsistent character 😆 I found Ishwari really fascinating up to a certain point..Then the creatives went overboard and ruined her..All those episodes where she mentally tortured Sona was a painful watch..The best part about Ishwari was her split personality..She is ridiculously insecure yet she was never vile..Which is why i prefered the version showed in the promos..Where she is struggling with her own feelings and Dev assumes she is not happy and breaks up with Sonakshi( that is how i interpreted it anyway but i guess i was wrong😆)..I really did prefer that cos you could still feel for Ishwari that way..But the CVs went overboard with her character and now she comes across as someone who is downright crazy..I'l really really appreciate the writers if they show her taking mental help..That is exactly what she needs..There was this old Tamil film where the wife was just as insecure and invested in her husband..To the point of killing their pet dog cos she saw that her hubby shared a great bond with it 😆 She eventually lands in the mental asylum in the climax..That is what excess insecurity leads to..Common CVs..Take her to a shrink..Prove me wrong 😆

You dont have to be mentally unstable to visit a psychiatrist..Ishwari is in desperate need of it..If something happened to Dev in all these years and he died for some reason (some illness, accident whatever) this woman would have committed suicide forgetting the fact that she has 3 other kids..In fact she wouldn't even spare a thought to them..She needs help..In real life, such ppl dont change just because they see their kids in pain..The most realistic solution is medical help..This is my biggest demand right now from the show..Just so they have atleast one right message for ppl who watch it..Some things cant be cured by sacrifice or patience or melodrama 😆

👏 well said!!!

I agree.. very much agree..
And I highly doubt if she's gonna be affected at all on seeing her bachcha being unhappy... She'll join him in his gloom and keep him there along with her.. Both pulling down each other into their emotional downfall...
And if she's shown to be affected then sure the CVs will end up glorifying her all over again and Dev would go "maaa" "maaa" again.. The makers can't create enemies for themselves in the mother audience.. Not so brave.. They want them to feel good about themselves and whatever Ishwari's drama will all be forgotten...🥱

I do not watch many Indian shows infact I think this maybe my third in all these years!.

The reason I started watching was the promos hit personal chords with me as I went thru something similar ..The outcome a beautiful relationship I shared with my MIL all because my Husband was strong and knew to balance!.

Here they have butchered Dev's character, Easwari character is no longer subtle but OTT so I am just rooting for Sona to get out of this craziness!

I love reading your views

^^ Yes..Am so not looking forward to Ishwari uniting the two of them..What is the point anyway? She'l lose it again and these two will again divorce? This way Ishwari cant even take it if Dev loves his kids as much as her..Ishwari uniting Dev and Sona is not the solution to the problem..Her issue is not Sonakshi in the first place..Its sad no one is recognizing it..Mamaji knows it yet told Dev that she dislikes Sona..They probably kept Neha away from this on purpose cos she is the only one who partly recognizes the problem 😆 Ishwari taking counselling will be a huge step in the right direction..But the way i see it, the writers will do everything apart from that 😆

If anything at all then Dev should have been there to listen to the convo between Ishwari and Sona to atleast initiate tth dot for a line..

They better have a heavy-duty script prepared for the upcoming track.. and not randomly decide to show something or the other...😆

This is exactly what is making it difficult to understand. I do not have confidence too. I suspect they may have got carried away by this separation track. I am unable to connect the current state with the earlier promos.. In the initial promos, It never looked like they had or would have this kind of a separation. It appeared that they still continue to be good friends and on talking terms. But with this kind of a separation track, I am wondering how would they connect the dots. They are shown literally being strangers, rumors of new entrants, etc..

🤗 I just can't hug you any more squeezier than this.. I rea lly really wanted them to explore Ishwari's character way diffently .. theycompletely messed her up.. The way she was struggling to be the perfect mom but as a genuine human being unable to understand her own inner jitters for fear of something.. That's where I wanted to empathize and root for her emotional outbreak.. But what she was made to do was any typical villainous mother-in-law behavior.. And completely out of relevance to her original characterization.. Now they might just switch her to the other mode annoying us more.. 😆

Exactly..This is unpopular opinion but the writers have gone way too overboard with Dev and Ishwari..But this is typical of Indian TV..They always make the guy do something ridiculous and then after a half-baked redemption track, all is well that ends well 😆 There is a reason i keep mentioning the promos..Dev assuming Ishwari will be unhappy and breaking up, Ishwari struggling to fight her insecurity yet not knowing what to do and Sonakshi being disappointed yet supporting him would have made for a better storyline IMO..This way, we could have felt sorry for Ishwari too and Ishwari could have later asked Dev why he din't trust her enough with his feelings and how he could assume she'l be such a cruel mother..We really could have related to all the characters that way..But then again, this is a daily soap and drama sells 😆

I so don't want Ishwari to do that.. not in her right mind.. 😆
And I don't think they have good solid plans to show her journey.. when all this while, Neha's direct and indirect indications necer worked on her.. How will it be different now?! Everyone is only dancing to her tunes.. And looks like the makers also stretching it as much as the drama works in their favor.. The moment they see the need for a change they'll make her listen to everyone and starts introspection . 😆

Not just any drama.. loud drama.. May be the makers felt that the show's subtlety was too subtle to be understood.. People are still doubtful that Ish wasn't insecure during Natasha time period.. And it all started way before that and how to explain that. Ok. Let's go OTT.. 😕
