The Anatomy of Mishal Raheja
Have been watching IKRS for a year now and despite the story going south and the overall show going nowhere but the finish line there has been one major element that has kept me glued to my screen all this time. Yes it started with the beautiful unique concept , then the crackling chemistry of the leads and then most of all the presence of a dynamic and versatile actor who would throw himself in his character and scene. Its none other than my beloved actor Mishal Raheja , of course.
SO what is it specifically that attracts me to him ?
Is it his body language , his expressions, his intense gaze , his throaty velvet dialogue delivery , his on screen presence ? Indeed its all of the above , that is why for me he is one of the best actors around . But the one thing that does not get talked about much or maybe not enough are his looks . And on the occasion of his 34th birthday I take great pleasure in describing what I see and love best about him. So let the drool begin.
First Wishing you Mishal a Very Happy Birthday from your entire fandom . And a b'day kiss from me .

"Taareef karu kya uski jisne tumhe banaaya " Shammi Kapoor style. Yes Mr. & Mrs Raheja ..good job in producing a son for the pleasure of million of crazed women across the globe such as me.
Before knowing Mishal if he ever was sitting next to me on a train journey i may never turn to look at him twice. To be honest he is not conventionally handsome at least not that Calvin Klein underpants model that one would ogle for hours. At first glance he could pass as any bloke in my neighborhood who is well to do and dressed accordingly. Living in Mumbai and with a good college education one is expected to look - as the locals would say - Chickna , and he does. One would be grossly wrong to overlook and not give a second or third glance at this marvel . Its only then when you see a certain character and shine that talks of an intelligent individual and sharp mind. An energetic and passionate being pouring it all in front of a camera.
Watching him closely , thanks to the High Definition technology I have spent hours watching repeats , rewinding , freezing the screen to list what I have observed and like about his anatomy. By no means an exhaustive list but a humble attempt to praise Gods creation. So here goes.
- His dark colored wavy hair. Just ok . nothing much he can do with it. It does grow fast though.
- HIs almond shaped eyes and drooping eyelids. Watch them flash and burn when he is angry and soft in romantic scenes.
- The freckles on his nose . Very unusual and adds to his charisma.
- A mole on his right ear lobe which at first i thought was a piercing .
- A bow shaped mouth . Oh my lord... his best feature if you ask me . I can stare at it and ABCDXYZ .
- The cleft on the chin. I have always had a soft spot for them . Second best feature if i get to rank .
- His East to West wide smile and the joker like grooves at the sides
- HIs well exercised chest muscles and a glimpse of hair in an open colored shirt.
- His arms a result of money well spent at the gym.
- His lion tattoo on his back . The only one we can see . Other guesses anyone ?
- His hands which definitely are not manicured and seemed to be put to use often for manual tasks.
- His butt. This one was hard to conclude coz he has been in loose clothing. Luckily a few episodes ago he bent forward to hug dadi bua in her wheel chair and the camera was happy to see and report its well being.
- His height and physique . Neutral to his 5.10 height though good by Indian standards.
Before you ladies ( and men if reading ) banish and label me as crazed , unethical , immoral women I would like to remind you of the many rights granted to us by nature and god himslef. Nope not talking about Right of Speech or the Right to choose a Religion BUT a Right to Lech and admire what is provided in abundance . When HE has created him then who am I to dispute or disparage his handy work . I'd rather we join hands in our praise.
So all why don't you join me ...on this occasion of his birthday when he was sent for the purpose of entertaining us and uplifting our hearts.
Tell me what you like about him and send him your blessing that he may always be HAPPY.
