Zee TV is all set to bring in a programming change!! The channel will soon go on a launching spree with respect to its fiction line-up.
And the first show to hit headlines will be Saregama Productions' upcoming family drama saga, Sanyukt!!
Making its way for the new show will be Mumtaz Saba Productions' Meri Saasu Maa.
Yes, you heard it right!!
Meri Saasu Maa which very recently saw the huge development of the introduction of Siddharth Arora in place of Pearl V. Puri as the male lead, will air its last episode on 26 August.
As per sources, "Meri Saasu Maa never managed to rake in big numbers irrespective of the drama elements introduced. The show which launched on 26 January will go off air on 26 August, thus will end up being on air for exactly 7 months. Sanyukt will take the 7.30 PM slot from 29 August."
When contacted, Siddharth, lead of Meri Saasu Maa told us, "I am not aware of anything like this."
Producer Rahul Tewary confirmed the development.
We tried connecting to the channel spokesperson for a comment, but did not get any revert till the time of filing the story.
