One of the biggest issues I have had with Ramayana is the uni-dimensional portrayal of the women characters - they are either pure and virtuous or evil and scheming. In your OS Sita's Sister Urmila does n't abide by these character tropes. Instead you made her story a modern myth , but many referred her as an ignored woman . We see Sumitra, Urmila in a new light in this LakshMila , a concerned MIL taking care of her dutiful Bahu ! Here the writer doesn't fail to emphasize that she was an accomplished individual in her own right, a learned and brave girl who wanted and tried hard to fit herself within the rigid frame of Royal rules and norms . She was portrayed not only as stunningly beautiful, but also fiercely intelligent. Instead of treating the characters as Gods and Goddesses but like mere mortals with many emotions, with tender feelings .I like the way the writer portrays Urmilla with not only a lot of intelligence but also as someone who has the gumption to stand up and speak her mind and if necessary can take her decision on her own ! Very good writing Aanvi .

A request ... if possible write few more lines on the meeting between the couple after 14 years of separation !!Yes liked the way you left it to the reader's imagination ... but want to know whether it is different from my imagination or not !!!😊
