Yes. I am happy about today's episode. To see my babies on the screen for the long time after so long was refreshing to see. Loved how Sanskaar was so worried for Swara, even while she was hurt in the kitchen, even while she was getting her first aid, even while she went missing and even when that nurse tried hurting her twice. I LOVED it how Swara was HONEST with Sanskaar and told him without fear that she herself was responsible for her health condition knowing the fact that Sanskaar hates it and also that she somewhere she knows she shouldn't have taken this step. I love this quality of my girl. Always honest, come what way. Always strong, come what may.
I love SwaSan. I love Swara-Sanskaar individually because of the way CVs have portrayed them. I love how CVs try to show and describe love in the purest possible way through SwaSan. I think very soon SwaSan might replace the word LOVE (atleast for me).
But coming to my disappointment, was it necessary to show Swara harming herself like this? Suicide/self harm is a sensitive topic. VERY sensitive. Just like Molestation/Rape is. I hated it that the molestation/rape issue was handled so negligently with the CVs. CVs literally promoted the idea of you can charge anyone with fake molestation issues and you will get out without any punishment. And now Suicide/self harm? Do we not know how many people are attempting to commit suicide under so many situations? Do we not know how many cases of rape/molestation are getting filed? Then why are CVs not handling these issue with proper care? Its not a JOKE that CVs are taking such things so lightly. If colors is a channel which wants to spread social ideas, is this what social idea they are spreading? Charge anyone with molestation and you will get out. You can attempt to self harm to do good things and no one will say anything? Cutting wrist, hanging yourself and a lot of more ways are possible for suicide and self harm. People black mail using the idea of suicide. Is this what this show and the channel trying to promote now? Are you trying to say you can attempt to commit suicide under your idea of right thing and good intention?
YES, I very well know Swara DIDNT try to kill herself. It was a little cut. But I am still against it coz it is still self harm.
Before I am bashed for NOT understanding Swara, I understand the girl completely. And just because I hated this self harm idea doesn't make my admiration for the character any less. I love Swara for her unconditional love and care she gives to everyone, even to those who dont deserve. I know Swara any day will risk herself than harm others. If Swara is black mailed to give poison, she would consume the poison herself then giving it to others, or maybe she will act out to drop the food containing poison to protect everyone. I know and understand Swara very well.
My question was and is still towards the CVs, Was it necessary to show Swara cut her own wrist, even for good intentions? I understand Swara had to be shown in the hospital and there are millions of ways possible to show that if you didn't want Sanskaar to be involved in the plan. If he was shown involved, there were billion other ways. WHY THIS?
PS: Again, this is not a bashing post. I just want this to be a discussion thread. Don't bring in actors unnecessarily. And please dont make this a war post. Thank you very much
PPS: I am against the idea of self harm and suicide. And my only stand is CVs should have handled this issue carefully
PPPS: I still love SwaSan and will keep loving them come what may
