Never liked this guy's acting much. He looks the same to me in every film. Moreover, there are times when I couldn't even figure out what was he trying to portray/emote in some scenes in few movies.

Let me start by saying that you are right.

Piku is a brilliant movie, well written script.
Amithab sir's acting was brilliant. I looked forward to his appearance on screen mostly during the movie.

Irfan has the same expressions in piku movie as he had in lunch box. (maybe he looked slightly less depressed piku)

irfan is a good actor but highly over-rated beyond that.
One particular scene when amithab sir asks him to stay back for a few days (when he drops them to their destination), irfan exchanges a look with deepika. At that time, felt that he is not such a great actor after all.

^^ Couldn't agree more on Irfan khan lol , I even wrote that at Piku times or some award ceremony when he was being disucssed for best actor for Piku.

Not at all sleep inducing, very emotional, will make u cry at some moments and also there are a few comic moments as well. But it is the sad reality of corrupt world and how common people always suffer. Worth watching.
