I am happy with the news.. RS is a shitty director.. SRK needs to get rid of all shitty directors who ruined his filmography since OSO 🤢 And RS is one of them.. RS is a pathetic director..

I have seen his fans claiming Dilwale failure was cuz of the clash.. So do they agree with RS now ? 😆 .. Dharamshankat

CBFC to introduce fresh certification for meritorious films' (like Salman Khan's recent hits)

Are we looking at a new censor certification era, whereby movies of high artistic quality and/or socially relevant content can easily be identified by the letter of the alphabet marked for certification? A Q' for Quality' could be the future of such films.

Says CBFC chairperson Pahlaj Nihalani, "If the CBFC discourages films that are high on sleaze, it must also ensure that films of merit like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan get immediately identified with the Censor gradation."

Pahlaj strongly feels that films which promote high aesthetics and social values must be encouraged by the government. "And not just through censor certification, but also through an all-India tax exemption. A film like Sultan, which has a strong message on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' and which promotes Indian sports and strong traditional values, should not be made to ask for tax exemption from state to state. It should be granted all-India tax benefits so more people would be able to watch it. Salman Khan's films are prime examples of the kind of films we'd like to encourage," says Nihalani.

Salman Khan has agreed to host the Filmfare Awards

Here's a first. Salman Khan has agreed to host the Filmfare Awards -- formerly Shah Rukh Khan's territory - this year. It is learnt that Salman is being paid 2.5 crore for two hours in lieu of his services.

A source in the know informs, "The anchoring of the awards functions has become tedious to do and watch. How many combinations can one watch Kapil Sharma and Manish Paul in? Salman Khan is a masterstroke. He is popular and Bigg Boss shows what a fabulous host he is."

Sources say it wasn't easy to get Salman Khan to host an awards show. "He was pursued relentlessly and the pay-cheque was very fat, close to 2.5 crores," mumbles the source. That's more than 1 crore per hour. Not bad!
