Totally agree with both of you...
when i first saw the ad, my reaction was to get back to my workout routine, which i have taken a break from since some time.
I looked at all the woman athletes and couldnt help but feel proud. Their fitness, their agility, their strength amazed me. Deepika's gait when she posed for those shots, showed me how dedicated she still is towards her sport. Not only her, even the other athletes made me erupt into goose bumps.
I showed that ad to my 6 years old niece and her reaction was like, 'Wow, they are awesome'. and i told her how sports make a person healthy n fit. this may seem cheesy, but its truth.
Nike was the last thing that got registered.
And the fb message that the author of that article is talking about. In that message DP, didnt even mention Nike... she just said how been into sports, gave her a 'never say die' attitude, which helped her get over her depression.
She is not telling you, to not take medicines (as mentioned in the article) but she is telling you to take up a sports now, so that you dont reach that stage where you have to take medicines. And, if god forbid, you do reach that stage, due to any other unforeseeable reasons, then the said sport will help you to fight the disease along with medical help.
@return_to_hades : 👏 to this sentence of yours ' A business is in business to make money, when they choose to make a difference along with money - it should be appreciated. '
