Today Sona and Dev proved me wrong. :-)
Although done in a bit of a "FL can never be wrong...", I liked how DevAkshi relationship was more natural today - Sonakshi reminded Dev of his responsibilities, Dev justifying why he has been ignoring his work (not really, but well), and their maturity around it all. The so called tattoo scene was also nicely executed - though it was cheesy for so many of us. It played well into the story.
But today's highlight was DevIsh relationship - the seeds of insecurity have been sown. Ishwari is now on to test her son - by doing things that she thinks is what binds Dev to her. Both Dev and Ishwari are reacting very naturally. It is absolutely natural for Dev to say no to the halwa (fresh in love, promised Sonakshi), and then eat it nonetheless... but Ishwari has already started thinking on a different track, so we are heading for something in the coming episodes.
I like (or would like) to see a show where the leads are not projected as soul mates - but as partners, friends and atleast today's episode shows this is where we might end up... Dev and Ishwari need to open up a lot to each other, and if Sona is as mature as she is projected to be , it wont be late before she can sense and steer Dev closer to Ishwari not far from her.
Wait and watch...
Show na hota (and if we didnt have to extend it to n episodes, the best thing would be for Sona to quit her job and join the hospital again - and meet like a regular couple in love would away from the eyes of Ishwari and RR. But again, Ishwari is now already on doubt track so it is a bit late for that too!
I know they have to keep Sona in Dixit house for sake of drama, but now that Ishwari is better (diet wise), and it would be illogical for Sona to take salary from Dev anyway it would have been the best thing to do
