So confusing?????

Finally we are done with Karan and his evil stares and his ongoing sarcasm and torture towards Laxmi. But something def didn't sit right in today's episode with Surya's arrest and then Karan's mom saving the day etc. Ok let me explain much clearly.

Today when the officers arrived to arrest Surya, they clearly mentioned that they are arresting him for fraud and for running a company illegally. And then right there in front of them, when surya asked karan about the fake registration papers, Karan reveals that he is Raman Mathur's son and that his father was framed and his mother was humiliated and to avenge all that he married Laxmi and has been planning revenge on the Garodias. The cops stand there listening to all this and i'm sure they must've realised by then that Surya did not do anything. Anyone standing there who heard Karan abt how he was planning revenge and all can clearly see that Surya was framed and yet the guests mock Surya about betraying his son in law ( iguess they wanted to make it filmy😳). Weren't they listening to all what Karan just said??😕 And then after hearing all that the cops still handcuff Surya and arrest him. At first i thought, didn't they hear that he was framed. But then i thought maybe that they are just doing their job and that is to arrest Surya and the rest can be solved in court.

Then later when Laxmi walks in with karan's mom and tells the officers not to arrest her father and that karan's mom can prove that her father is innocent.. i was completely confused at that statement of hers. I mean how can the cops stop Surya's arrest for the present crime just because he is innocent of what happened several yrs ago for something completely different. They are here to arrest him for fraud and running a company illegally.. how can karan's mom naration of the past save him from fraud charges. But then i just told myself that prolly they believe that Surya was framed and didn't do anything...but that's what karan just said some mins ago that he was taking revenge. And now when a woman who was almost in a comatose state comes and tells the truth, they believe her.

Well, and after all that when they hear Rasik was the one who destroyed karan's family, they arrest him? how can they do that> they are here pertaining for some other charges, not for something that happened several yrs ago. To actually arrest Rasik, they would first have to open up the old case and begin an investigation and only then can they even come and arrest Rasik. But no, as soon as Karan's mom tells the whole story, the rush to arrest Rasik (altho i 'm glad he is arrested, but the whole arrest didn't make sense at all)

And then another thing is that why wasn't any legal action taken against Karan. He manipulated the law for his own selfish purposes and wasted their time and money. I'm sure what Karan did is a crime in the eyes of law. Yet nothing of that sort happend.

The entire episode didn't at all fit well. They were so many loose ends, and so many more Qs in my mind. But I have already written so much.

Basically from today's episode, all i could gather is that the cops seemed as if they were under Karan's pay roll and were arresting the ppl that hurt Karan and his family, no matter if it had anything to do or not with the charges they were here in the first place.

Well written! You said exactly what I was thinking while watching the episode today. This was so strange because the reason Surya was being arrested had absolutely nothing to do with Raman Mathur's incident that took place so much before. But actually, I think what you said last is right, aren't they Karan's men because one of them called Karan in yesterday's episode to let him know they raided the office, didn't he?

And also, the creatives will probably tailor these details to how they want the story to go, and they won't make sense. 😆

Whether Karan tells about his plan ....or his mom relates the past ....the police look at only one thing . legally and currently , who is responsible , and whose sigature is on the paper . Coz a signature signifies that a person , in his right sense gave consent . So the cops shud ideally arrest Surya and after listening to the tamasha and getting a fair idea that he was framed shud tell Surya to prove it in court as they r helpless...they have his signature . They can of course , put another case on Karan for a public confession of deliberate action and wasting the time of government officials .
But the serial makers rarely pay attention to legalities and do stupid goof ups . They need good legal advisers and adequate researchers [ like the karva chauth goof up .].

I just read thru all your views about this, and i'm so glad to hear that you all think the same. Thanks for posting your comments. How i wish the creatives realise that they messed up big time. I think they were in a hurry to wrap up the Karan revenge track, as it dragged a little too much, that they missed the little details that we caught.
