Who was a better rockstar- Shahid or Ranbir??

Though both characters were different yet the basic aspects of playing a rockstar like lip syncing, stage presence and even the rebel act have common strains allowing for comparison. So who did you prefer and who amongst the two could have played the rival rockstar character with the same ease??

Ranbir!

Shahid was horrendous in UP 😵 he was totally overshadowed by both Alia and Diljit IMO!

Shahid was overshadowed by kal ki bacchi Aalia and ubharta sitara Diljit, says a lot about his acting. Most reviewers were of the opinion his character and performance had a single note so no comparison Ranbir all the way.

Shahid in two scenes he outclassed ranbhir 👏 specially His eyes oh man look so real druggie.this yr he can get award. N diljit as debut

Praise for Alia in no way takes away from the laurels received by the other 3 actors. Same as praise for PC in Barfi did not take away from RK's performance.

Anyways you should watch the movie, its really good and then judge for yourself.

I haven't really watched the film but based on the reviews it seems like its a great film ( and in all probability a better film than Rockstar which was migraine inducing IMO 😆)..But given how brilliant Ranbir was in Rockstar, its a tough act to beat..Insipid and pseudo intellectual script and a bland, expressionless co-star yet Ranbir kills it like nobody's business (angst, intensity and insanity is totally RK's forte😆 )..He is that good in the film and as a fan, am probably gonna choose RK anyway even after I UP 😆
