Ekta Kapoor's supernatural saga Naagin, which had a successful run, is gearing up for a season 2. The bi-weekly show is making a huge comeback with a new season within couple of months.

Speculations are rife that Arjun Bijlani, who played Ritvik in season 1, will not be part of the season 2. Now, the latest reports doing the rounds in the media is that Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi fame, Shakti Arora will apparently be seen in season 2.

The actor is reported to have been roped in to play Mouni Roy's love interest in the second season.

Naagin's final episode was aired on June 5 and the next season is expected to go on air in the month of October 2016. Naagin created records by continuously staying at the top on the TRP charts.

I am loosing interest in Naagin 2...shakti-mouni is a bad choice...i love shakti but i don't see any chemistry b/w shakti-mouni...i would have prefer a karan tracker...karan wahi...or even ritvik who looks good with mouni...i can't relate Naagin with shakti...he is definitely not for Naagin material

i guess saare hero consider karenge for S2 with mouni ..toh phir AB ko kyun nahi...maiyaa ...ka kya karein ...audience will love arni jodi. once again..paar nope maiyaa wont listen🤢

Well then I guess it's time to say goodbye to Naagin. No Arjun means no Naagin. Even if one of the trio is not there, the show will never be the same and Shakti wont look good with Mouni at all! I strongly doubt Naagin 2 will even get close to its first season's success let alone surpassing it.
