PART 6

After some chitchat both Aditya and Laksh bid-adieu from Ragini's place. Laksh was feeling a little comfort after this meeting. It was already 8pm he was sitting on the dining table along with DP. Annapurna was working in the kitchen. DP started asking Laksh about his business. He being his father never showed any interest in his son's business but always feel proud about his son. Laksh who was already in a happy mood started sharing everything to his Dad. He also told him about his new contract with "Gadodia Industries". DP already knew that Ragini is taking care of the business after Shekar but he never got time to meet her. While DP and Laksh were talking AP came back from the kitchen. DP wanted to meet Ragini so he decided to invite Ragini for lunch. AP too was happy because she loves Ragini like her own daughter and she too wanted to meet her. DP asked Laksh to inform Ragini about lunch and also said that it's an order and she should come. Laksh was little surprised by DP's words but then he realized that Ragini is more like a daughter to him. Soon everyone finished their food and Laksh went back to his room.

Laksh who was lying on his bed was recalling the moments he spent with Ragini. He thought somewhere his Ragini is still there, she has not changed - he chuckled at his own thought. His thoughts were going out of control, he didn't want to think about her but couldn't stop himself. He was not feeling helpless but was enjoying this. He came out of his unknown feeling and decided to call Ragini to inform about the lunch.

She was cleaning her cupboard thinking about the things happened today. It was unbelievable for her that she talked to him normally. "Maybe I was missing him these days" - she thought.

Soon her phone rang, she was surprised to see Laksh's call at this night. She picked up the call.

Hi, Ragini! - he sounded really excited.

Hi Laksh, you called me, what happened? Anything important? - She was shooting her questions continuously.

Arre baba, wait na! Let me tell first - Laksh cut her words.

Today I was talking to Papa about the deal and he wanted to meet you so he invited you for lunch tomorrow in our house ...

"But"- Laksh cut her words saying "And it's an order".

"What?" - Ragini was shocked by Laksh's words.

I don't know, Papa said that - Laksh cleared everything.

Okay, so you have to come tomorrow.. I'll be there in your house by 11AM, be ready ok.. bye good night- he didn't let her speak and cut the call.

It was morning 9AM he went to his office and did all the works and cancelled all his meetings. He had no idea why he's so much excited that he's cancelling all his meetings because his work has always been his first priority. Meanwhile, Ragini too completed all her works called Aditya and instructed all the works to be completed. She soon changed her clothes. She was wearing a simple white top with short sleeve and and a jean pant and had her hair braided. She was looking so beautiful with minimal effort. Soon Laksh reached Ragini's place and they both moved to MM soon.

Both AP and DP were so happy to see Ragini in their house after a long time. Even though they had phone contact but this is their first meeting after Shekar's death. All were happily chatting about different things and soon AP called them for lunch. AP has made her favorite Kashmiri pulao. And also Kheer for dessert. When Ragini saw Kheer in her plate her memories of her first kheer had flashes.

It was when she was 16 years old as she had lost her mother in a very young age and she had no idea about cooking. She always wondered how people cook so tasty. Ragini came to MM to meet Laksh when she saw AP was preparing for lunch. Ragini was eagerly noticing everything. AP who saw Ragini's expression decided to teach her cooking. She called Ragini.

"Ragu beta, I'm planning to make Kheer today.. can you please help me?"

Ragini who was already excited by the thought of cooking immediately agreed.

They both entered the kitchen. AP first taught her to ON the gas and stove.

Haww! Aunty how burner got lit up immediately like a magic-she wondered.

Cooking is not less than any magic my Ragu - AP replied happily.

So shall we start - with this AP started teaching Ragini everything. By following AP's instructions Ragini finally made Kheer, the first dish made by her. AP called everyone for lunch and she made Ragini too sit and started serving. She served kheer to everyone.

Arre wah! Is something special today? Asking this DP took a spoon of kheer and ate, his expression started changing and Ragini was nervously watching this.

While Laksh kept the very first spoon of kheer in his mouth, "Ye kheer kisne banayi?" - DP shouted in a high voice.

"Kyu, kya hua ji? Ragini ne banaya aaj kheer" - listening to AP's words Laksh's food got choked.

"Kya Ragini ne?" - Laksh too shouted. Listening to all this Ragini started to cry badly. While AP and Dp were trying to console her, Laksh put his fingers into his ears and closed his eyes tightly. Ragini was crying unstoppable.

"Arre, Ragini mene issliye poocha kyunki kheer bohat tasty bana hai, aisi kheer mene aaj tak nahi khaya" - DP tried to console her.

"Haan beta, yakeen nai hota toh tu khud khaake dekh" - saying this AP fed her kheer and it was actually tasty. While Laksh was sitting in the same position, Ragini couldn't control her happiness.

Ragini came back to senses when Laksh brusted out his laugh because he too still remember her first kheer experience.
