PART 5

After so much happened in their lives Laksh somehow gained all his courage and entered into the Gadodia Mansion. It looked the same like it looked before but he sensed something strange, a deadly silence which was confusing him. He slowly entered into the house and looked around. Nobody was there so he thought of calling Ragini.

"Ragini" - he called her but no response.

It was strange for him because once this house was filled with her laugh, her voice.

"RAGINI"- this time he shouted and finally she came from her room.

Hello Laksh, sorry I was busy somewhere. Come in, sit here- saying this she went to the kitchen to prepare tea for him.

Have your tea- saying this she kept the tea cup in front of him.

Thanks, but I don't drink tea - he replied back.

Oh yah, your habits must've changed. Sorry I forgot!!!

"What? Who don't like tea here? Anyways give it to me, it's always a pleasure to have your handmade tea Jaan, Btw, I'm Aditya Mehta and you're Laksh Maheswari, right?"

"Yeah, you're right"- Laksh was already pissed off by Aditya's nature.

"You know whatever my Jaan makes it turns out to be perfect, like this tea but you missed it"- Laksh didn't know how to react so he decided to be "a business man".

So I think Ragini must have told you everything but let me explain once again - this is how he started and all the three got in to their business mode. Finally the so called business meeting came to an end and Ragini and Aditya were quite impressed by the proposal.

So I think we should sign a small agreement today itself. What's say Jaan? - Aditya questioned.

Ragini was always been okay with Aditya's decision when it comes to business so she was happy with the decision and nodded "YES"

So Jaan keep my lunch ready I haven't eat anything from the morning, I'll be back in an hour with the papers till then enjoy my Jaan's company Laksh - saying this he ran towards his car.

Ragini smiled at him but she had no idea that Laksh was noticing her. She went back to her study room, took some magazines gave it to him and went back to kitchen.

"Where is Shekar uncle I tried to contact him but remained unavailable it's been so long I want to meet him"

"He is no more" - she wanted to sound casual.

What???

"He is no more" - she repeated in the same range.

What? I mean how? When? - He was shocked.

"It's been six years now and DP uncle knows this and you must have just boarded your flight to London so maybe he didn't want to disclose" - she sounded quite normal.

So what you had my contact number, you should've informed me but just then his own words echoed in his mind- "Stay away from me and never ever try to contact me in anyway"

Ragini was just looked at him and smiled.

Laksh composed himself and continued- Why it's so silent here? Where is Ramu kaka he used to cook na? Why are you doing this?

"Ramu kaka is not here, I stay alone" - she paused.

"And business" - he questioned her but she called him to have the lunch but ignoring his question.

He sat on the chair and again questioned her- "And who takes care of the business?"

"I am doing it" - her response left him surprised because he knew her, his Ragini, his Ragini who never cared about these things, who always found happiness even in little things, who never had any interest in business today she's having everything but not her happiness and he could clearly see that in her eyes. After all he grew with her, her childhood, her teenage, her first crush, her likes and dislikes - he was aware of everything.

He couldn't resist himself from looking into her eyes, those eyes which always had love for him today it's blank with no emotions. He felt like a stranger to her. Can someone's love change in couple of years? - His thoughts were going out of control.

But she on the other side, never looked at him, into his eyes because she didn't want to fall for him once again. So she decided to divert her mind.

"So how was your life in London? I must say your idea of leaving India was not bad!!!" - She said in a teasing tone.

Laksh finally came back to his senses and realized that she asked that question in a teasing tone. He felt somehow relieved after listening to it.

"It was good, learned a lot"

"So any commitments girl friend types?" - She winked at him.

"No yaar! kuch bhi bolti ho"

Haww! Don't tell me that you went to do your "studies only" there.

Haan, I didn't have any girl friend there but he was again pissed off by listening to some voice.

Who didn't have girl friend tell me- it was Aditya who was approaching towards them again intruded.

Ragini smiled at him and they all sat for lunch. It was all fun talks while having lunch and Ragini was enjoying it. Laksh was bit annoyed by Aditya's presence but got an inner peace after all he got his childhood friend, his bestie back!

Really nice update aww he is upset poor Laksh, I like how casual Ragini is towards Laksh, can't wait for the next part
