Everyone keeps attributing his behavior to ego, but I vehamently disagree at least with what's happening with Ishita. Ego maybe applies in doing what he thinks is the solution. But with Ishita he is running away - he doesn't want to face why she left nor does he want to deviate and get hope that she'll stay.

So everyone saying its ego that's keeping him from opening up or being more human - I beg to differ especially after seeing & understanding Raman as a character for 2.5 years

And yes it's sad no one in his family really gets him but I guess that's what he wants - to be left alone forever, unloved and unneeded bc he finds himself useless

Mr bhalla knows that he didn't want this

He knew raman loves them and agar wo dono use chod kar gaye to wo tut jayega

And second thing he knew Romi very nicely

That's why he scolded raman that time

And I really liked that scene

Yep - Raman needs tough love to get out of his funk but he also needs empathy

To brush all of this away as mere ego is in my opinion making matters worse and it is utterly belittling to Raman
