Na Tum Jaano Na Hum...

The first thing on my mind as I wake up is You.

I check my phone for your message, wait for you call.

Deep down, I hope for a message from you.

The day passes; you continue to give me space.

Then I walk in for lunch...

And I am greeted with your feedback form.

Something from you- Even if it was not exclusively for me.

It brightens my day, I light up.

I sit down with a heart filled with happiness...

Open the Tiffin to fill my senses with the beautiful aroma of your Daal...the one I had asked you to make...

And then I catch myself slipping away...I cannot afford that.

So I close the Tiffin and rest my head resignedly over it...and decide to punish myself for day dreaming again...

I cannot have any reminder of you anywhere near me, so I order that they cancel my Tiffin from you.

LOL. Apparently, everyone is afraid of you, Sumo- My Assistant hesitates as he is asked to call you.

I look curiously at him, wishing I could eavesdrop on the conversation- I am dying to hear your voice.

Your message is delivered to me- You are sensitive about your food...I know that, but I am sorry.

I really can't help this- I badly need my sane self back.

The rest of the day is thankfully filled with court related activities that help me take my mind off you...

I take a drive back home in the afternoon, and you are standing there in front of my eyes like a vision...A Vision, you know.

Are you real? May be not?

Are my feelings real? Perhaps...Though I'd rather not dwell on it much.

But it is as if I am driving through a dream...Your presence fills the emptiness in me...I can't take my eyes off you.

What is it about you that I can't have any control over myself?

How unfair it is that my heart continues to hope...when all I want is just you as my friend.

I would give the world to have you beside me without any of the complexities my mind draws up...

How you torment me, my Sumo!
