I can't take my eyes off her. Is she a dream? Her face , melting in the dry summer outside gives me feels, that I should help her. Be her shade... Protect her. Oh! This war of my mind and heart is eternal and increases day by day. My mind, can't you just shut up for a moment? Stop thinking, will you? I can't ignore her, she's already left far behind. My eyes long to see more of her. A few seconds won't suffice. After all, I haven't seen her since that office convo, haven't even msgd her!

So finally, I set my 'logic', in fancy terms, 'ego', aside as I reverse my car to her rescue.

Chick, I found the line too simplistic and reductive in terms of understanding their relationship. Past plays a role in both but it differs substantially between them in their understanding of the past within the complexities of the present. Pushkar is yet to understand them thoroughly.
