With all due respect to Neerja Bhanot.

So the movie and real life are two different things. Just because a movie adapts a tragic incident like this doesn't mean my criticism is towards the real victims of the case. My post is strictly limited to the movie.

Now we have that out of the way, let me say the movie was nothing great. Sonam kapoor was very bad. I think standards have failed to such an extent that any below average performance is rated as performance of the year. The good things were the people who played bad guys and shabana azmi. The movie makers exploited the emotional aspect and got people to flock to the theatres.

Neerja Bhanot is a great lady and I loved the movie for her and not Sonam.

Sonam fans I hope now you know how it feels when you said Piku is overrated and DP was loud and all that blah. There are many who loved Piku and DP as Piku but you guys never left any thread to put her down.
Now if somebody says the same to Sonam as Neerja you are pouncing on them.
Just like u feel DP was bad in Piku, TM feels Sonam was pathetic in Neerja.

You're kidding right?

It was the most under-hyped movie until the reviews and BO results came in, then suddenly people started taking Sonam seriously. Go back to older posts.

Sonam and the team of Neerja deserve all of praise since ppl were expecting it to fail even before it began.

And if ppl felt the movie bawling then I think they wrote a good script.
