From which angle Neerja was an overrated movie? Wat did u wanted in a biographic movie? Did u expected a kissing scene of Neerja wid some guy or some item song between d serious scenes in d flight or some disco song? TM, u sud really think before making such post. Wat do u mean by performance? Sonam was supposed to act like real Neerja whether her behaviour or expression? Did u expected her to chatter n dance around in d flight like a bubbly girl? Or did u expected her to bcum Jhansi Ki Rani wid d terrorists? Ab jaisi asli Neerja thi vaise hi Sonam ne kiya. Just cuz u hate Sonam does not means u can make any topic like dis. D movie was not at all overrated. It had only limited scenes based on d descriptions given by her family n passengers of d flight.

I am not a sonam fan..but I got yo watch neerja recently on TV .its premiere .I was alone at home n I cried I don't remember when I cried this much.bit I was moved by story as well as performances. Sonam gave her honest efforts n other actors were par excellence.I saw the making too and I think this was pure n sensitivity of team that they cud touch this topic n made that film so well.its a special film for me.a story of a girl who made me think about my ways and my life ..an inspiration really.I told everyone whom I met days following to watch this film just to check himself/ herself .msg was so damn clear.

LOL I was surprised at the IMDB rating because never knew Neerja was the best movie ever made in Bollywood so went to IMDB and checked and it said only 8.2.

There are many movies like Airlift, Drishyam ahead of Neerja.

Btw I loved Neerja and don't mean to put down the movie.

What is the film about? It looks a bit too commercial.

Atleast the movie made the real incident and sacrifice a household story.

People will forget sonam and her acting in the movie but will remember neeeja for shining a light on the real Neerja
